My autocorrect misses misspelled words sometimes and tries to change words to things I wasn't typing. It's like it has a mind of its own!

Good morning! Thanks for starting the thread. Today will mostly be spent prepping for the remainder of the work week-whi*****ludes some relaxation.

QOTD: I did okay until the afternoon and ate a kind bar and trail mix and then later in the evening I ate a Fitjoy bar because we had a friend over and I was up later than normal. Although these aren't rule breaker foods for me they weren't necessary or part of my plan for the day.

Menu for today: Latte, oatfit and turkey sausage links L: tuna packet, carrots and string cheese S: latte, yogurt and a little chicken jerky thing that was in my stocking D: habanero jalapeño chicken sausage and I think I'll try to make these turnip fries I saw on Pinterest awhile back.

I got some time in on my stepper this morning. Water/vits on track.

I hope everyone has a nice day.

Morning gang!  Happy Day After Christmas!  I'm thankful that it was a good weekend.  We ended up with 14 people in our home, 9 over night guests.  I hand-painted names on stockings for every guest and we gave them all little gifts so everyone had presents for the holiday. I made a huge lasagna on Christmas Eve with salad and pies for dessert. A dear friend did most of the cooking Christmas Day and she made brisket and ham with a bunch of sides.  Other than the brisket trying to burn the house down multiple times everything went off great.  We played Cards Against Humanity and drank lots of adult beverages.  My Guy bought a bottle of Kahlua and even though I am sure it has tons of sugar I was able to sip on coffee with a shot of that throughout the 'party' and it didn't upset my tummy. I'm sure that is not recommended for RNY folks but it was my Christmas splurge. There was much cheer and that made me miss my kiddos a little less. Overall, great success.

Anxious about my cardiologist visit on Friday. It will be good to finally go and find out what his plan is but it is just stressing me out worrying. Ironic isn't it?  I have heart problems so now I'm stressing about that which is probably hard on my heart. LOL

QOTD: I did good.  Stuck with the proteins and didn't go over on anything. I got down a few more pounds Saturday morning so I intentionally didn't track or measure.  Gave myself the motto "eat if you are hungry" and let it go. Didn't have any pie or anything sweet...mostly because that stuff just makes me sick so it isn't tempting.  Ate plenty of crackers (ya'll know I love salty crunchy!) but brought all the left over crackers to the break room at work today.  All is well. This morning I was 121 again so I feel I did a great job eating both enough and not too much.

Menu: Greek yogurt, Greek yogurt, Cheese stick, and left over brisket for dinner.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Went to my brother's house Christmas eve and slept over... so since I was not drinking and driving I had wine.... My brother practically has stock in at-home breathalizer tests as he has 7 children between him and his new wife between the ages of 32 and 22 plus spouses and significant others.... and while drinking happens, he doesn't want anyone getting on the road drunk....

So out of curiosity I breatalized myself several times to see how my alcohol level did, and how quickly it came out of my system...as my doc always says it takes longer to come out of us because of our altered anatomy... so on one glass of wine I registered .03 and a few hours later I was .00 .... so totally normal in my book...

I would have really loved to have a nice Irish creme or blackberry brandy later on but was too afraid of the sugar in those making me sick... I don't dump per se... but will get nausea from too much sugar...
