Quick post here this morning. Lily and I got up and got our 3.2 miles in even though it was drizzling a bit. Now it's full out raining so it's a good thing we were talking when we did. Plans for today include church at 10 and then the in laws for lunch. My pastor called last night at 930 and told me he was taking his wife to the ER and asked if I could be in charge of the service as well as play the piano. So we have a Christmas Day service with no sermon I guess. I guess we'll sing lots of Carols? A bit more stress than I like right now. Post op 4 years 4 months and weight at 117.2 today. Did pretty good yesterday but there was Kings Hawaiian roll eaten I must confess that wasn't on the plan. Here's the eats B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1 c ham and beans D 31/2 oz ribeye 1/2 c green beans S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar.  Can't think of a question for today so someone else feel free to add one. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you toward your goal.

Morning!  And Merry Christmas to those who celebrate!

I think just singing carols in church on Christmas morning sounds great, actually!!

I also went off plan last night, but it wasn't too bad.  I usually average 1200 calories a day, and yesterday was 1400.  I was thinking afterward that allowing myself an extra 200 calories on a holiday is probably OK, since we're talking a handful of days a year.  As long as I get right back to it the next day and don't let holiday eating drag on (although today is Christmas Day - so that would make two days in a row - maybe I should shoot for 1200 today!!)

B:  L&F vanilla yogurt with NSA blueberry/blackberry sauce, 1 T Kashi Crunch granola

S:  SF protein mocha peppermint latte

L:  at Mom's - we'll be pulling out the appetizers from yesterday.  I'll focus on the turkey meatballs and the raw veggies with hummus

D:  lasagna (I made a bariatric-friendly one (in addition to a traditional one).  "Mine" has zucchini instead of noodles, ground turkey instead of ground beef, and is a little lighter on cheese

hey yall! missed yesterdays post, running around like crazy- can honestly say yesterday was the worst day I've had in a very long time-  everything that could have gone wrong did it seemed. Ruined my cookie pan, burned breakfast, left presents, DH broke the passenger side mirror, I think I nearly had an anxiety attack, it was soooooo not good. I tasted a bite of a couple pies and ate a chocolate chip cookie last night. PLUS- I'm still not feeling well at all. its a combo of right side pain and what feel like indigestion. the other night it made my upper back hurt really bad and into my throat. anywho, I see the gastro after the new year.

We are having company over today for christmas meal plus mom. Hopefully will be amuch better day than yesterday.

Im having today:

B: 2 prot pancakes/CM yogurt/decaf/miralax

L: HAM/roasted carrots/cauli taters/sweet pot/dressing/

D: whatever else I decide to cram in my pie hole, probably including pie

Choose your battles folks.

QOTD:  Haven't gone over to my mom's yet, so I don't know what the Santa from that side of the family will give me, but probably gift certificates to coffee places.  My mother-in-law sent my husband and me each a check for $100.  That'll cover the Instant Pot I ordered a couple of days ago, so that's what I'll tell her I'm using it for!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!

Thank you for starting us out, Karen.

QOTD:  My daughter got me several gifts this year.  I loved them all, but I especially love the wooden blocks she got that spell out "BLESS OUR HOME & FAMILY".

She also got me a really cool 3-D picture of flowers.

At 3 pm we are going over to family's for chili and cinnamon rolls.  Yes, I will probably splurge and have half a cinnamon roll since it's Christmas.  Then we will have a gift exchange.  (We drew names).  After that we will play cards and games.  It should be a really fun day!

B:  Crepe with peaches & cream cheese

L:  chili and 1/2 cinnamon roll

D:  chicken & rice soup

S:  Light n Fit Greek yogurt

Have a WONDERFUL day with family everyone!

QOTD:  Santa gave me money who could not appreciate that!  My daughter gave me a beautiful picture frame from her college and a picture of her and outside her college sign.  But I have to say that my two favorite gifts were one was from my daughters best friend which was an ornament that was a memory  of my mom and another one was from an old family friend which was was also ornaments.  My dad and grandfather raced stock cars  and this friend made my brother and I wooden cars of both of their cars.  I love them all.  Although I have to admit the two car ones are coming to work with me and are being hung up in my office!

Oh onto food for the day... So far I have not been to bad but the day is young you know...

B: decaf tea, 1 egg

L: 6 small shrimp and sauce, celery sticks

D: supposed to be ham

Hope everyone is enjoying there holiday so far!!!
