Home from surgery and happy and healthy. Dr Neville and all the staff at the Ottawa Civic were the Best! I am so impressed.

Any pain I had was very well controlled and everyone was so kind to me.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Hope you all have a very safe and happy Holiday :)

Referral to Ottawa Civic Hospital in March 2016, surgery on Dec 23 with Dr Neville,

Loss so far M1=21, M2=10, M3=8, M4=8, M5=7, M6=6, M7=5

I came home yesterday. Absolutely no appetite. Is this typical? Had RNY. It's like the hunger switch was disconnected. I do hope for a very long time. Jim, my BF had Chinese takeaway and it smelled wonderful but didn't phase me at all. I would have Inhailed the meal, trust me without the surgery. I know I have food issues. That's what got me to this place and raging diabetes. Took my BS at 6pm and it was 127 without any meds. That in itself is an accomplishment. Only carbs were from liquid meds, milk, protein shake.

Im still very bloated. Look like the Michelon Tire dude.
