VERY late dumping syndrome?
I am 6.5 months post op, and last night I went to a Christmas party and I over indulged. This was the first time I reeeeealy went over board :-( I feel like crap about it too, so not worth it anymore! Anyways, last night I was totally fine, stomach didn't bother me at all...no symptoms of dumping. This morning I woke up and omg. Major stomach cramps and a lot of trips to the bathroom. This is the first time in 6.5 months that I've had toilet issues, usually I have the opposite problem. I thought dumping syndrom occurs like 30 minutes after to 2-3 hours after. I've never heard of anyone experincing dumping syndrom nearly 12 hours later!
Also, how long do these symptoms usually last for?

It's not dumping. Just a bunch of bad choices coming back to bite you on the ass. Literally.
Did you ever get sick to your stomach, stomach ache, diarrhea, gas, etc from something you ate before WLS? Everyone in the world will get those symptoms if they eat the wrong things, or too much. We just have different tolerances now after surgery.
It's a good reminder not to do that again though.

Dairy does that to me. Eggnog, punch with sherbet, ice cream or milk. It is lactose intolerance for me and started about six months after surgery. Dumping for me is mostly rapid heartbeat and weakness. It happens about 30 minutes after eating sugar. The bathroom part does not always happen with dumping.
