What foods does your pouch not like?
I think that the mashed potatoes might have been a little too heavy for your new tummy even with it being doctor OK'd or maybe ingested too fast.
For me raw onions did not sit well, nor scrambled eggs. I was eventually able to tolerate the eggs but not early out. It might have been a little bit of the smell of them being made . . .
I still have problems with raw onions. They make my tummy burn. I have to make sure I only get a smidgen of them and it has to be with other foods lettuce or tomatoes in a salad.

These are in general and make sense. Deep fried foods, pork, deer, bear...All are hard to digest because they go straight into the small intestine and don't have time to break down. When I reached goal I would eat soft serve (fake**** cream. I hatted to see 1/2 of a cone go to waste...So I would eat the whole thing!! You have the sugar, oil, and fat mixing together at once...Not a good thing. My pulse will race and I will go into a sweating situation. I know my limits on that one. Also real ice cream does the same thing...Just a very very small amount...Nothing more. Cream soups...With a lot of butter and cream doesn't sit well with me...I avoid them!! Trial and error for most of us. Brian
Before I buy Syntrax Matrix and/or Necter protein shakes I want to make sure if my pouch "Fred" will have no issues. Before surgery I tried all their flavors. Didn't like roadside lemonade, twisted cherry (way too sweet), and the blue flavor. . All their flavors qualify for the protein and carbs. Looking at the cookies and cream. I have a good blender so making it won't be a problem. Not too much difference between Necter and Matrix. Any thoughts?

I'm only about three weeks post op, but my pouch does not like crystal light. I get really bad heartburn and acid reflux.
