Love the picture of you and Amy,Daisy! Give her a hug and smooch from Lily and I. Enjoy your time away and get some rest lady. You need it. We don't really have any neat Christmas traditions. We always go to my in laws Christmas Eve day for our big Christmas meal and presents. Hubby and I usually go to anorthern 11 pm Christmas service at one of my past pastors churches so I can enjoy and not be expected to play the piano. Whichever grandkids are back stay the night at my inlaws and then hubby and I go down for breakfast Christmas day. This year I will go down later as Christmas is on a Sunday and we are having church. Well have either left over turkey on ham and beans Christmas day. I'm lucky that I have such good inlaws as both my parents are gone and my sister and I don't speak much. Very dysfunctional family here. Post op 4 years 4 months and weight at 117.2 today. Lily and I will do our 3.2 miles after the senior meal today. Helping cook Christmas dinner for some elderly people here in town today so I'll be busy til after noon. Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz hamburger 1/2 c mixed veggies D 31/2 oz shrimp 1/2 c sweet potatoes and onions S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar. Felt crappy this morning when I got up and my blood sugar was really low. Felt much better after I ate. Been noticing that some mornings when my bedtime snack is a P3 Pak so my need to make some adjustments there. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices!
Good Morning Daisy and Menu Friends!
Have a wonderful vacation, Daisy! You will be missed!
QOTD: When I was a child we spent Thanksgiving with my maternal grandparents (the fun ones) and Christmas with the fraternal grandparents (the stuffy ones). We kids always dreaded going over to our grandparents' house because we had to be all dressed up and on our very best behavior. Now days it's just Saralisa and me on Christmas morning although many years we get together with my brother's large family in the afternoon and have something to eat. This year we are having chili and cinnamon rolls, (which I will skip or I might have a tiny taste). We drew names for a gift exchange and will be playing cards and games. It should be a fun time!
B: Crepe with peaches & cream cheese
L: Chicken & wild rice soup
D: Hot dog with cheese
S: Light n Fit Greek yogurt
S: Mr. Cheese O's or Moon Cheese
Exercise: Walking the dogs around the subdivision.
Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

Morning Daisy! I can't believe Christmas is just in a few days. I'm panicking. And today is the shortest day of the year, to boot.
My father's family always made this meal they referred to as "bohemian." I have no idea where the name was from, as my grandmother was French Canadian, and my grandfather Irish. Basically, it's a pot roast cooked for hours, and then mixed in some kind of gravy/sauce from hell, with dumplings and potatoes. It's disgusting, but everyone else thinks it's amazing. And it takes a whole day to prepare. So, crappy meat, stale bread and potatoes, and lots of labor. My sister still makes it. I get why they made it back in the day, but why keep doing it? But some real meat already.
I LOVE the tablecloth and that whole tradition Daisy. Just love it.
I have something I feel I should mention. The other day, JB met my ex at the supermarket, and brought her home. Can you believe it? And right before Christmas, too. Ask her to show you all a picture.
