Do you go to the Texas Heart Institute? I work with a couple of Nurses who used to work there and they say it is one of the top Heart Institutes in the World!
CHF is so treatable now, and pacers are so small and the procedure is done here as a day procedure! You are young and in great shape and even though this is congenital it looks like your Doctor is on top of this and you will do great.
I am saying prayers and sending lots of love your way Elizabeth.
I have been with my doctor for over a decade. He is through Austin Heart and I honestly love him to pieces. He is a great doctor, young and up to date, and has referred me to his partners here and there for various bits and pieces he thought they might help with. I trust him wholeheartedly (pun intended).
Thank you for the love and support. I will keep you posted.

see my other post about your heart news.
Eat the crackers, and once they are done don't buy anymore. You are at, well below goal so a few crackers is not going to break you since you eat so well all the time, just my honest opinion.
Love that you would work for the Red Cross as a Crisis Counselor, it fits you perfectly to a T, you are such a giving person that kind of job is meant for you!
Happy grocery shopping tonight!
Thank you. I really do love when my work can make a difference. Someday...Red Cross!
Also...I totally brought the whole damn bag of crackers to work this morning...put it on the break table... and walked away. After packing a little snack size bag for my own lunch in my lunchbox of course. LOL
I am just going to buy better stuff to put out for the company this weekend. Damn crackers will be stale anyway. :)

Good Morning! Another quick post for me as I prepping to get in the car in a few hours to head to the bay area for work for the rest of the week. I am trying to get all my stuff packed up in between conference calls. I will miss your posts Daisy and hope you and Arun have a Merry Christmas and safe New Year.
QOTD: I think I would pick something with animals too but not sure what.
Menu id kind of up in the air today. For breakfast I am having my latte, eggbeaters with shredded cheese and turkey sausage links. For lunch I will probably stop and grab grilled chicken somewhere and am meeting up with a friend for dinner so probably grilled chicken again. Hoping my snack will be a yogurt and jerky. I have some protein bars packed so I should be good to go.
I did get my 6 miles in this morning and have my workout clothes ready to be packed up.
Hope everyone has a great day.

safe travels Kelly! I hope your week goes by fast and you are home with John & Emily before you know it!!
Good morning, Daisy and Menu Family! It's a brisk morning here in West Texas, and I am happy to report that it's going to get into the mid-fifties today, so that means that we can walk the pigs and clean the barn.
QOTD: I would love to be a makeup artist for a week.
Time since RNY: 22 days
B: scrambled egg, sausage link
L: chicken salad
S: sausage link
D: taco seasoned meat, refried beans
S: mozzarella stick
V: started, iron at lunch, multi and calcium again after dinner
L: no coffee today, working on plain water. 26 oz down so far (this is getting better)
E: walk the pigs, clean the barn, walked three miles this morning before hubby and kids were awake....I don't get this....Kids are on brea****il Jan 3, but they're still getting up before dawn every morning without me and DH waking them up. We are quiet in the mornings, don't make unnecessary noise, so why on earth are these children up before the buttcrack of dawn?!?!?!?
