Good morning peeps! God I am tired. I am insanely busy at work and my evenings are go go go and I am so tired! Why is there not enough hours in the day to do what I need to do! Still frigid here, -10C (14F) and with the windchill feels like -17C (2F)!! Seriously my toes & hands are numb from the cold! Oh and to top it all off, hubby is coming down with something, not sure if its the flu or a nasty cold and I might be getting an ear infection, my left ear (the good ear drum) is really painful and making weird noises, this can not happen!!!! I had a really broken sleep last night and I woke up *****y, is that even a thing? Well if its not I just created it! ha ha ha
QOTD: If you could do any other job in the world for just a week what would you do? There are so many I would do for a week such as NASCAR driver, Big Crane Operator, Penguin Keeper at a Zoo, Dog Breeder, "Taster" at Birthday Cake factory, Working at National Geographic working with Sharks. So out of all of those... Fat Daisy wants taster at a cake factory but sensible Daisy says working with Sharks. It would definitely be a job where I could work with animals and be outside, and try to give back. What about you?

D: never ate my 1/2 tandoori wrap for dinner last night so having it tonight, well that's the plan at least
S: vanilla greek yogurt, raspberries, bran buds & 2 babybel & logging SmartPop 100 calorie bag of popcorn, might not have it

E: as soon as I get home, taking the dogs out for their hike then go home feed them and go back out and get my husbands Christmas gift, can you believe I forgot to get him something! In the craze of everything I forgot my boo!! Bad Daisy LOL LOL

Good morning all!
I'm up early this morning, hubby is on the early schedule for the next couple of days while people are out of the office and as a result I woke up just as early as he did. I'm enjoying some coffee and quiet before the kiddo wakes up. Today is a busy day....I feel like this is a common phrase for me. My days are often full of errands and appointments and various other things. As I said in a previous post, I far prefer this to having absolutely nothing to do...that makes me batty! Today I have therapy and a dentist appointment, trying to figure out how I can eat my snack between appointments and still have nice clean teeth for the dentist. I hate the idea of going there with food in my teeth. Maybe I'll just do a shake for my snack and have a quick brush in the bathroom before they call me back.
@Daisydoo waking up *****y is totally a thing....and for me it seems to be in direct proportion to how broken my sleep was the previous night.
QOTD: I'm having a brainfart with this question...could be because I'm only 2-3 sips into my coffee
B: Plain greek yogurt, protein granola
S: hardboiled egg, crunchy cheese "cracker" (another eggface recipe!)
L: tomato basil soup

E: Walk around the neighborhood, it's in fully decorated Christmas glory and with the hubby home early we can take a family walk together :)

Good morning menu gang!!! FIVE MORE DAYS Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love the cooking, family time and friends. Heck I love everything about it! My protein numbers have sucked for the past two weeks so I have to work on that! And miralax hasn't worked for three days.
QOTD- I would be a doctor if I could change professions. My grades were never good enough but I have always wanted to be a doctor.

Baking is all done for the holidays! If I have time I might make another batch of granola, but that's bonus. Today I finish my sewing projects.
I was a little sneezy and congested yesterday and again this morning. I'm chalking it up to not being used to being around flour anymore. And refusing to consider the alternative. ..
Qotd:well, my dream job won't exist for much longer, but it was to run a magazine. Retro. I know.

what kind of granola do you make? I'm looking for a good recipe....I love a little granola on my yogurt in the morning but I've only found one protein granola that I like.

I've been meaning to try to make a protein granola. But this stuff is for gifts, and not very wls friendly haha. It's banana bread granola. And it actually tastes like banana bread. I tried a couple of the walnuts/almonds. I was skeptical but it does! If you're still interested I can def post the recipe!
the other flavour I want to try is apple pie. Another new one for me.

ohhhh haha, the fat me says yes I would love the recipe....the rational me says it's probably better to not make something that sounds so delicious
I will keep looking for a good protein granola recipe, I don't like a lot on my yogurt but just a little something for a crunch!

I tried putting some of my hubby's all-bran on my yogurt once.....but I couldn't get past how it looked like I was eating little turds and the texture was just weird

Yup. I got used to it. To the point where if I need a crunch, I'll put a couple table spoons of it in a bowl to snack on haha.
