Hello, all!
I slept through breakfast again.
For lunch I had a dish my husband taught me when we first started dating (he said he saw it in a healthy-eating magazine). It's veeeery easy and very low calorie. Put a whole bag of bean sprouts in a bowl and cover the top with very thinly sliced beef or pork slices (think shaved steak). Brush a tiny bit of seasasme oil on top and cover it with plastic wrap and microwave for 3-4 minutes. Eat by 'cutting' off a piece of the meat with your chopsticks and grabbing it and some beansprouts underneath and dunking it in ponzu with ichimi (a spice like cayenne pepper) mixed in.
For dinner I went out with some girlfriends for the last time before I go back to the US for Christmas/New Years. I've very proud of myself that although we went to an Italian restaurant with tons of pasta and pizza on the menu, I ordered a mini caprese (sp?) salad and a salisbury steak. I ate about 3/4 of the steak and all of the salad.
