Revision surgery from lapband to RNY - wish me luck
I didn't have the lap and but had RNY 4 years 4 months ago. I went from a high weight of 272 to 117 at 5'6.5". I've weighed this weight now for over 31/2 years. Best decision I ever made. No more back and knee pain, high cholesterol and triglycerides or diabetes and my blood pressure is perfect on one low dose pill now. Nerves are normal but you will do just fine.
Good luck!! I am waiting to find out my insurance approval/surgery date for the same thing.....nerves haven't truly set in yet, but I'm absolutely sure they will!

I had revision from lap band to RNY in September and I'm very happy with my choice. You're going to love not getting stuck and so much more. Congratulations!
