Herbal tea anyone??
In the winter my all time favorite is candy cane decaf green tea.

I drink so much herbal tea! I don't really drink plain water since surgery, because cold water no longer agrees with me. So I drink herb teas. I have so many that I love. None of these have caffeine. Here are my favorites, plus some thoughts.
I do not add any sweetener to my tea. All of these teas are good as they come.
Teavana Citrus Lavendar Sage: my all time favorite, never tire of it--good hot, warm, cold. Cannot say how much I LOVE this tea.
Smith Teamaker #67 Meadow--this is a delicious and comforting tea. I love it. I have to order it online, or I would drink it more often.
Teavana Caramel Almond Amaretti--delicious and a little bit desserty, smells so good
Teavana Wild Orange Blossom
Teavana Peach Tranquility
Mighty Leaf brand: Chamomile Citrus and African Nectar (with the Chamomile Citrus, do not over-brew, or it becomes bitter)
Smith Teamaker #24 Big Hibiscus--really nice hibiscus tea with very slight spicy undertones
Tazo makes great teas. I generally now prefer some of the others I have listed, but the Tazo are worth trying.
I used to love Good Earth "Sweet and Spicy," herbal blend. Since surgery, it aggravates my system for some reason, but it might not aggravate everyone's.
Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice is a good chai tea--add a small amount of unsweetened soy or cream to this one.
Yogi brand Peach Detox--this is a very black peppery tea. I like it a lot.
Other options:
I also really Dandelion root tea. There is a powder called "Dandy blend" that I like. It is kind of an instant drink powder.
I LOVE a thing called Crio Bru. It is brewed like coffee, except it is made from roasted cocoa beans. I brew this in a French press every morning. I add a very small amount of unsweetened soy milk as a creamer. It has no caffeine, though it does give you a little energy, so if I drink after dinner, I limit it to one cup after dinner.
Very cold here, too. It's been hovering just over 0 Celcius for a few weeks now, no snow yet. Unfortunately central heating doesn't exist in this country, so we use the heater function on our air-conditioner unit (the kind that is permanently installed into the wall).
I've been drinking a lot of ginger tea recently. I read some articles in Japanese that claim that ginger boosts the metabolism and reduces hunger. IDK if this is actually true, but I do feel less hungry after drinking it, but that could be a placebo effect or just the fact that my stomach is full of something warm and any tea would have the same effect. The one I drink is basically ginger powder in a regular black tea bag, but I've seen some American brands that have ginger-lemon herbal tea.
