What's on your Menu Today (PHOTO FRIDAY) RNYers?
The up and down thing makes me crazy. Some days I eat crap and I go down, some days I eat perfect and go up. I am glad to hear your scale is moving for you. We can do this!

for the record the scale makes me mental too and for the same reasons you mentioned, eat crap loose, eat perfect go up. Fickle ***** that scale is!!! ha ha ha
I've been away from my scale for over a week now...I've got withdrawals. WTH? I usually want to chuck it in the garbage.
I'm really curious to see what my weight will be when I get home. I think I've been pretty well-behaved food-wise, but I'm still afraid of a big gain.
( We went on a 5 day cruise and are having an extra few days in New Orleans before heading home on Sunday. For the record, I'm having way more trouble saying no to desserts and pastries here in the city than I did on the ship. )
I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

I was terrified to get on the scale after a week at my son's.... I was only up 1.4. That's a fluctuation...I was good with that.

My favourite part of your post is "ran to the store to get two 24oz coffees" YES a lady after my own heart! Why don't I do this too!!
There are no "rules" to Christmas, and not everyone lives in a "Hallmark Card" world, I sure as hell don't, so you do what works best for you!
Good luck on the low carb, its hard but if I can do it you can do it!!!
Good Morning Daisy and Menu Friends!
"The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area for freezing drizzle, ice, snow and severe wind chill through Saturday night! Oh lovely! (rolling my eyes)
My plans for the weekend include making scrabble tile name magnets for all of my brother's kids and grand kids for Christmas and working on getting Christmas cards sent.
QOTD: I'm excited because for the first time I won't be the only FAT person in the family pictures this Christmas! All of my family are normal weight and I always looked HUGE in the family pictures. This year I will be a more normal weight like the rest of them! YAY!
My photo for Photo Friday is of our Christmas tree. We decorated it with rainbow colored ornaments and iridescent ones. Our star is a color-changing star and it changes colors of the rainbow.
My other picture is our "family" picture. It's the one I will be using on our Christmas cards. It is of my daughter, Saralisa, me and our dogs, Tippy (Chihuahua) and Blossom (Golden Retriever mix).
