QOTD: Funny timing. I am 58, still have 7 years or so before I can retire officially. BUT. We are currently in the process of buying an 80 acre farm on Orcas Island, where I spent 15 years raising my daughter. We are building a high-end campground with several types of tents, a vacation house with four guest rooms, and tipis. There is a working train on a 2-mile track, a basketball court, stables and a corral for small animals, and huge meadows. We plan to do retreats in the off season. So excited! If all goes well we will move back in the spring. THAT will be my early retirement! Oh and I will sleep in and drink lots of coffee.
B: Premier Protein vanilla with coffee, greek yogurt
L: cottage cheese with hot sauce
D: eating out with daughter... maybe insides of a taco or two
S: babybel cheese, Syntrax fuzzy navel
It is a chilly 20 degrees here in the northwest. Beautiful but cold. Have a great day!
That sounds like an amazing place to own, and a great 'retirement' job!

Good morning and happy friday eve! The scale is still being a ***** I have been 100% on plan and Im holding on to the 3ish pounds I've gained since Friday. I drink my weight in water and still no movement. Anyone want to help me plan my day of gluttony? Like I said yesterday, if the scale's going to be a ***** I may as well enjoy it! My firm's holiday party is the weekend and it's a formal event at a hotel in Beverly Hills. I didn't wear heels much prior to surgery because its hard to support that much weight on toothpicks, but the dress I bought screams for heels. So I'm walking around my office today in jeans, a sweater and 3 inch heels, practicing so I don't break my neck on Saturday. The best part about these shoes? I bought them at DSW and according to the receipt, I saved $436.02. Yes, I saved more than $400 on a pair of shoes!!! Even if I decide to not wear them to the party, there's no way I'm taking them back! I'm just hoping the scale stops its upwards climb, or I wont be able to get into my dress!
DQOTD: Frankly, I don't know. My parents were not good on the retirement savings front, and when my dad was diagnosed with dementia and had to stop working, I had to step in. Unfortunately, to do that and still pay my bills (I'm still paying for law school) I had to get rid of my condo, move back into their house, and withdraw from my retirement fund. I'm trying to build it back up, but it is slow going. So, I'll likely work past retirement age and then become a greeter at walmart! I can't envision moving, since LA isn't a bad place to live
My plan: Total gluttony . . . No????
B: 2.8 oz turkey breast
L: Meatloaf
D: Tri tip and salad
S: Skinny latte, roast beef, almonds
(as you can see, I'm throwing in the towel on fiberfest. It didn't help my dumping issues, so why bother)
Totals: Cal. 829; Protein: 79g; fat: 29g; Carbs: 59g (my macros suck)
Oh, Nice!!!! Totally worth keeping them no matter what!

Hi! I'm here, I'm here! I'm reading and think more than I post.
Qotd: no idea about retirement. I'd love a vacation home now that would serve as a retirement home-- but I can't afford that at the moment. I can retire at 60, and have no intention of working longer. Only if my health coverage would be in jeopardy somehow would I work longer.

m1: cream of wheat, 1/2 banana
m2: ham/chicken lunchmet roll up
m3 chili 6oz
