What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Daisy you do look like you should be in the Christmas story. I was having trouble eating yesterday, but it was from sheer exhaustion. I got up at 4:15 in the morning because to get off Long Island out of New York that's what you have to do to get through New York City without hitting major traffic so by the late afternoon and I was delirious went to my hotel room and just laid on the bed and while I had plenty of snacky foods I really wanted a burger. But unless somebody was going to come to the room and bring it to me as well as hand feed it to me in bed wasn't going to happen.
Me yesterday too before delirium set in.
Unfortunately I can never adjust the size of my phone so I'm hoping this doesn't come out humongous for everybody.
Have been doing some stretching and stuff in the hotel room for exercise and to get the body moving.

Food is unknown although I have an Oikos yogurt hard-boiled eggs, little bit of pineapple some nuts and some bars with me I always like to have one real meal a day so we will see what that happens

Hi Daisy & menu friends! Yep--we have the exact same temps here in Boston and one of my schools has a broken boiler. The city is dragging their feet on getting someone over to fix it and the kiddos are freezing. Not a fun way to start today.
I was well behaved yesterday, too, and my weight is back to the high end of comfort but not in full panic. Thank god.
I have a confession... a bad one. Back about 2 years ago my doc prescribed Phentermine to curb appetite. I never really took them because I didn't like the side effects (crazy energy like I am on cocaine). But I kept them and every now and then I take one (I think only 3 times in the last 18 months). I took one this morning. I am not sure why... I just wanted a little support in saying no to all of these treats. I am kicking myself, because I know I am stronger than this. I can say no without chemical support. What an idiot! But nonetheless, I did it, and I hope it helps... Feel free to shame me. I deserve it.
Sticking to CAMAW today, but didn't have a lot of food options--I swear I haven't been to the grocery store in 3 weeks, so it's a sad collection of food! I am not even writing it out in menu form because... Here is what I have packed: 3 cheese sticks, 2 Chomps meat sticks, tuna packet, and 2 turkey meatballs. Oy. More meat for dinner, I guess.
EDIT, forgot QOTD... I know what I'd love to do, but I'd never be able to afford it... I'd love to give up everything and move from city to city. Right in the heart--give up the car and walk and subway everywhere. Eat out. Go to museums. Enjoy the vibrancy that cities offer. Alternately, my parents have friends that leave their house every summer and choose a different National Park to volunteer at for 3-4 months. Cool, right?! But in reality, I'll probably work long past 65 and just stay home and craft a lot of I ever stop working... :)
I hope you all have an awesome day. Stay warm!

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Karen. I could not do this without all of your daily support and kindness.
