I don't mind those words in that pic- although tbh, i have no idea what turnt means - it's more the 2nd part that bothers me. Until this very minute I hadn't heard of dern... Not sure I could use that one. lol

Where I live, "dern" is just a hick pronunciation of "darn," which is a nicer way of saying "damn." Like, "gosh dern it all to heck!"
Good morning Daisy & Menu Fam!
Thankfully not as cold here as it is up where you are Daisy! We are so busy here at work, but I am trying make time to come by here at least once or twice during the day. I am feeling emotionally better lately. I still have bad days but am learning to cope, but mentally, I am feeling loads better and am genuinely excited about the holidays!
I get you that the want is there. I have been battling head hunger the last few weeks big time. I psychologically want sugar and carbs, even though I physically don't need it. I dream about bagels, banana bread, pho with noodles, garlic fried rice, waffles. But yes I so want sweets: candy, cake, cookies (all chocolate driven). I am SO an addict. I try to satiate by drinking water, or grabbing a handful of nuts or a couple pork rinds. Confession: Lately I even take a spoon of peanut butter once and savor just to kick it. No more than once a day do I do this, but I think i have to throw the peanut butter away, as its a slippery slope and actually not approved on my plan until month 9.
QOTD: I have a lot of quirks, but the one that stands out now is this: I eat (or ate, rather) burgers, some sandwiches, and pancake stacks in a strange way: Around the outside first and save the middle for last, because thats where are all the flavorful goodness is, and i wanted to save it for last.

Please have good thoughts that my trip to South Carolina is uneventful since we are driving there.
I broke my water bottle this morning so I'll have to go get a new one.
QOTD Since surgery i have a routine with my eating and drinking that if it gets messed up, im not happy. I have told one friend i have to eat before we go or i need to get home to drink my water. Its getting better now since i can drink more now or can wait to eat.
