What's on your Menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?

Good morning peeps! How is everyone? We are getting a cold snap right now, and I am not a happy girl, temp right now is 14F (-10C) and "feels like" 1F (-17C) brrrrrrrrrrr! Day 2 of "no Christmas cookies/treats" is going great! I did not eat one tiny thing off plan yesterday and I am so proud of myself and I am down .6 of a pound today for a weigh in of 128.6! So ya sticking to the "plan" and not eating treats really is working. I am telling you though the want is still there, the amount of cookies around at work, and the treats at the grocery store is off the charts and I am using all my will power to resist and damn its hard but seeing the scale go back down is sooooo worth it. And I have noticed that my craving for them is getting less & less. Its been said a million times before, if you don't eat the carbs you don't crave the carbs. Its so TRUE!!! For me folks its mind over matter, yes I want the treats but I force myself to think back to before Surgery and I don't want to go there, Stacyrg said it best yesterday in her post, fear is good motivator!
Reminder! Photo Friday: show us your Christmas tree decorated or mantle or favorite Christmas display or your lights on your house all done up! (If you don't celebrate Christmas and still want to post a pic please do, we would love to see it!)
QOTD: Do you have any quirks? I have many, but since I am not writing a novel will just tell you a few! ha ha I can't have food on my plate touch, never will the meat and veggies touch, it just does not happen in my world. As a kid (I am better now as an adult) the thought of stew made my skin crawl, all that food mixed in together UGH! I brush my teeth in a special pattern, in quadrants, outside top left, outside top right, outside bottom left, outside bottom right, inside top left, inside top right, inside bottom left, inside bottom right. Floss twice in the same pattern before I brush. Shower routine: get in wet hair, wash face, soap body, wash hair, condition hair and then stand under the ho****er for few minutes and then I can get out. I have to have "things" in even numbers. When I put raspberries on my yogurt it has to be 6, 8 or 10. And I do count them out!!! I can't have 5, 7 or 9, no, no, no. Those are just few of my quirks/OCD traits, yup I am a weirdo!
Time since surgery: 3 years
B: vanilla greek yogurt, fresh raspberries (10 of them LOL) and 1 tbsp of bran buds
L: can of solid white tuna with 1/2 yellow bell pepper chopped up & balsamic dressing
S: 2 babybel and 1/3 cup of dry roasted peanuts
D: 4oz of rotisserie chicken with A1 sauce & 1/2 cup of steamed zucchini with lots of butter!
S: Fresh raspberries & SF cool whip and 2 babybel before bed
TOTALS: 810 calories, 91 protein, 35 carbs
V: I remembered my Patches today, they are on!!! Yahoo!
L: coffee all day & water with SF cran all day
D: hike the dogs again in the deep snow, OMG last nights hike was tiring! My black dog Oliver broke his dew claw on his front left foot but he is a trooper and did the hike anyway! Getting more snow today so tonight's hike will be even harder in the deep snow! If I don't post tomorrow you know I am buried in a snow drift somewhere ha ha ha
11 sleeps to Christmas! Have an awesome day friends, Be Fabulous!!

Morning everyone! Today is the day I finish my Christmas shopping. Well, that was the plan until Daisy reminded me of how cold it is....
this job hunting thing is starting to take a toll...I've been up since crazy early because I had a nightmare where I was interviewing at an agency that loved me, until I was filling out a computer form, and put that my favourite cuisine is Chinese (it isn't), and in another area, an auto correct mistake lead to the form saying my strong skills include slamming back coronas! (It's not)
They asked me to leave immediately. Hahaha I think I'm starting to take things personally...
Qotd: I sat here a long time trying to think of one. I'll have to ask my husband. But one thing I've caught myself doing, is relating almost every subject back to either my surgery, or weightloss in general! (Kind of like how this qotd is not wls related, see what I did there?)
Menu:
B: protein shake, decaf coffee with baileys creamer
L: 3oz leftover balsamic chicken.
D: shrimp and some kind of veg
S: Greek yogurt and bran buds if needed
have a great day everyone!

Hi guys! Good job staying on track, D! I did well yesterday, too. I'm at the condo this morning with no scale but I sure don't feel any smaller. I'm still in "fat pants"...2 weeks ago I had to safety pin these to be tight enough not to fall down. Not today. :(
Ok, I know I ask you guys to cross fingers and toes for snow days a lot. But keep 'em crossed for the end of the week in Boston, please! Not much snow predicted, but windchills expected 25 below zero, so not safe for kids at the bus stop. I NEED A DAY OFF!
I managed to get rid of a lot of my "quirks". I used to have a lot of anxiety issues that made me weird about driving, and germs, and I used to only tolerate things in even numbers, but I really just don't have any of that affect me any more. I still often think of myself like that, but I'm really not. Yay for progress!
I've decided to go CAMAW leading up to Christmas Eve. Starting... now!
B: Fit Frappe Espresso
S: deli chicken and Swiss roll-ups
