Good morning! That is a GREAT shot of the snow--Arun is such an awesome photographer... We have snow here, too, but not enough to cancel school, so it's just a nuisance and not making me happy :( But this is the first time in my life that I am a "garage person", so no more clearing off the car! Woot!
I am feeling the holiday weight gain panic, too. I really don't want to have to face junk IN MY FACE all the time. I recently read this really interesting book called "SWITCH" which talks about human behavior and how to change people's minds and habits. One of the things they talked about is that all people have limited reserve of mental energy. So it might be feasible to say no to a cookie 4 times in a day, but you can easily run out of the mental energy that it takes to say no the 5th time. I think we are tested by the holidays because there are too many times we are faced with poor choices in a day, and we run out of steam to make good choices.
I will have a 100% clean eating day!

ok totally jealous your car gets the garage! we have a single driveway have room in the garage for one car and the driveway for two cars, hubby's truck gets the garage and I get the snowy, cold, driveway for my car! But he does go out everyday and warm it up for me and clears it off of frost and or snow/ice now that winter is here so I can't complain too loud LOL
that book sounds s interesting and I can totally see how a person can only say "no" so many times to a certain thing, I totally agree with that theory.
I am glad you "feel my pain" on the holiday weight gain panic, thank god its not just me! LOL

Flooring is fun. It would be more fun if it was at waist level, rather than the floor. Is it nail-down? Glued? Snap-lock?

Good morning friends! I am back from Hawaii and up 0.5 pounds. Ugh. I didn't do horribly on calories, but didn't meet protein goals and definitely ate too much junk. Anyway, back at it today. I highly recommend that trip, it was AMAZING and relaxing. I will spare you all the pics, I overshared on FB I know haha.

It's incredible, isn't it? When we eat more than we want to, it's never extra protein. It's ALWAYS carbs.
