scare of my life

I promised I would post after my surgery, sorry it's been a few days. Spent the day of my surgery (Monday) with the worst nausea of my life. That evening I started vomiting bright red blood until I saw the surgeon standing over me with a priest. The surgeon said I was going back under to repair the leak immediately.  I remember the priest touching me and telling me it was going to be all right.  I don't remember ever being so scared in my life.  Now I'm at home, 6 days post op and doing well.

Yikes !!!!!  That would be super scary!!!

Yikes!  I'm glad they were able to identify and address the issue right away, and that you're now on the mend!

Thank God they knew right away that you had a leak and we're able to fix it.  I'm sure you were terrified.  so glad your home and doing better now.  hopefully the worst is behind you.

Oh gosh... glad you are home and recovering. 

Leaks don't happen often, but when they do they are terrifying..  Glad your surgeon caught it and fixed it.  Hope everything goes smoothly after this.
