What's on your Menu today (PHOTO FRIDAY) RNYers?
I'm originally from IL - I remember that type of weather. I migrated south about six years ago and I can't say that I miss the chill. It's in the 40s here today and I'm freeeeeezing. I still have my padding, I imagine post-surgery I'm going to be even colder!

I totally understand - my folks and siblings are still up north, we are always trying to talk them into becoming snowbirds at the very least!

Good Morning Everyone,
I have a very busy weekend with two concerts to sing on Saturday and two on Sunday, then back to work on Monday.... all I want is sleep! I posted about a frustrating gain this week but I think I'll try to really up the protein and water today and see what happens. I've kept everything the same, calories are typically between 450-550. I always get in at least 60g of protein, the only carbs I eat are the occasional non starchy veggie. (yesterday I cut them out cause the scale had gone up a bit). Always get at least 64oz of water and all my vitamins in. I make sure I'm "regular". Just frustrating.
QOTD: I can't stand when people talk over me or cut me off mid-sentence... drives me batty.
B: Protein hot chocolate (yum) with decaf, half & half and equal
L: chicken tender with balsamic and romain
D: Pork chops, green beans
S: Shrimp, cottage cheese

Good morning everyone!
This is my first post on the menu thread - so it may take me a few posts to get the hang of it Up today is heading to the local mall with my son's class to have pictures taken with Santa - he's terribly excited and can't wait to tell Santa all about the trucks he wants for Christmas. I love his excitement for Christmas, it's always been one of my favorite times of year and being able to share that with him is pretty awesome.
QOTD: I think my biggest pet peeve is having to repeat myself, I guess I expect people to be listening the first time I've told them something and I would probably make a terrible teacher because of this! Also swallowing noises are a close second, I used to work helpdesk and it always made my skin crawl if someone was gulping loudly over the phone in-between talking to me
B: Siggi's plain greek yogurt with a bit of Nature Valley protein granola
L: TBD
D: Chicken with carrots, celery, and baby potatoes - I got my instant pot yesterday and I already put it to good use last night with a spaghetti squash. I'm in love with this thing and I forsee it being heavily used in this house.
S: Nature Valley protein bar, premier protein shake
I have pictures to share but, I'm a forum noob and I actually don't know how to share them! If anyone can point me to instructions or give me tips on how to do it I'd appreciate it!
Happy Friday!
EDIT: Look I added pictures!! Thanks guys!
First picture - I'm a mug-a-holic, I love collecting fun mugs and this one is one of my favorites
Second picture - my hubby refused to let me put glitter in his beard, or ornaments, but he did let me thread christmas lights into it for giggles.
Third picture - One of our kitties, Hagrid, on the day we met him at the rescue. We went to adopt a kitty for my father-in-law and ended up bringing Hagrid home too :)

Hi Kelsey, welcome! I'm a band to bypasser, too (a few of us are) so please feel free to reach out if you have questions! And keep posting!
Here is how I post pics--in the upper right of the page there is a graphic that looks like mountains (next to the pencil). That's where you can upload pics to your profile. Once you have what you want uploaded there, it's easy to get them into a post. When you are adding your text to a post, click "add photo" (next to bold, italics, underline). It will bring up the photos you uploaded to your profile to choose from. They insert right into your post :)
- High Weight before LapBand: 200 (2008)

- Lowest post-op weight: 110 (2016)
- Maintenance Weight: 120 (2017-2019)
- Battling Regain Weight: 135 (current)
It worked! I added pictures! :)

Welcome! So, I can try to explain it, but it's complicated to me... so maybe someone else can make it easier...
This is what I do...
Top right hand corner there are 4 pictures... click on the one that looks like a mountain landscape... then click on upload photo... so once the picture is uploaded, I open another window with OH in it, and go to the post where I want to include a picture... Then you just grab the picture on the other window, and drag it over to the window with the post.
I really hope that makes sense... and maybe someone else will enlighten both of us and post an easier way to do it too! LOL

Also, if you want to decrease the size of you picture you've added to your post, click on the added picture. You should now see the picture outlined with little squares. If you click on a square and drag it towards the center of the picture, it will shrink the size of the picture. Then click the submit button when your post is complete.
