Experience with scallops?

I know everyone tolerates foods differently but mahi mahi didn't go well at all last night so thought I would ask about scallops? 

Tolerance? I do shrimp well. Salmon and now mahi mahi are no fly zones.

Since we are both band-to-bypassers I bet we have a similar tolerance...

For some reason I just have a super hard time with fish, now. I could tolerate a loaf of bread easier than I can, fish.

Scallops and Salmon were my two favorite proteins but I just won't go there anymore. Fool me twice...never again.

I'm going from Band to RNY....I'm going to keep this in mind as I try new stuff.  I hope I can at least keep Salmon on the menu because I just discovered that I like it (after years of thinking it was gross!)

I'm band to RNY and I can have salmon and shrimp. I haven't tried scallops.

I'm also a band to bypasser.  Scallops no. Salmon grilled rare yes. I emphasize RARE. I also advise server that if it comes burnt I must send it back.  Some cooks don't speak English or don't care   Regards

I would try them at home first. Sometimes our pouches have a mind of their own on some days with food. Good and bad.

I never have a problem with scallops, if they are cooked right.  Over cooked is bad, because they get rubbery.  Otherwise, I tolerate them with no problem.

 Height: 5'7".  HW: 299, Program starting weight: 290, SW: 238, CW 138 - 12 pounds under goal!

Its really strange but my stupid body acts differently on different days. I now call certain days bad pouch days because my new tummy just doesn't tolerate much at all.

 

The good thing is  - it makes it easier not to have to decide what to eat that day...

I have done scallops without problem, but I did have issue with salmon in the past.
