Morning DD2. Sorry I haven't posted much, things have been busy.
I don't play a lot of games. I played Clue a couple of months ago, but that was the last board game I've played in years. I played a little Bridge and Whist years ago, but no one is into that anymore. But I LOVE Sudoku. I'll play a billion games over a few weeks or so, then not play it for several months, and then the bug hits me again. I play Freecell a bit, when I get tire of concentrating on something.

Morning everyone! Half way to the weekend. Yay! Yesterday I managed to stop the crazy thought train in my head and just relax and enjoy the day. I did in fact go back down to 122.6 this morning. I think it will take time to adjust to this maintaining thing and I look forward to less anxiety over time. For now I am just keeping on keeping on. This morning I feel really cute in my outfit and am feeling comfortable in my own skin for the first time in a long time. I think the "this too shall pass" thing is going to eventually normalize all this scale stress. Meanwhile...I am still weighing twice a day and keeping track. There shall be no out of control back sliding for me!
QOTD: My Guy and I play cards every night. It is our habit...ritual? We have done it for years. It is the "kids are in bed now lets just sit and be together" thing. I honestly think it is key to why our relationship has stayed so strong. After all, who doesn't love the idea that you get to beat each other every night? ;) We currently play deck builder games by Cryptozoic that are based on DC Heros. In years past we used to play Scrabble. We also love playing games with friends when we have get-togethers. Tick to Ride, Dixit, Arkham Horror, D&D, and more. Always fun.
Menu: B: Light & Fit Banana Cream w/ 1 cup grapes; L: Salami and 3 oz cheddar slices; D: Not sure...need to figure it out. Thinking tacos as last night 'Taco Tuesday' was usurped by kid with a migraine run to the doctor and picking up cheese steaks on the way home; S: Chobani Simply 100 "Crunch" Black Cheery Pie
Totals: Cal 945, Protein 76, Carb 63, Fat 45 (based on taco theory)
Accountability: 122.6 this morning, using MFP to track but working to not freak out if the plan gets bounced by life happens stuff.

"I am basically food's creepy ex-girlfriend. I know we can't be together anymore but I just want to spend time hanging out" ~me, about why I love cooking so much post WLS
I can't find my Christmas spirit either. We haven't decorated or put up a tree yet. The kids are mad lol. I'm sure we will do everything this weekend.
We like to play games. My husbands family are major game players. They love to play spades and dominoes and just about everything. My stepmoms family are crazy game players. They always scream and shout and fight! I don't know why they all agree to play when the games always abruptly end because someone storms off or flips the table over. I don't like crossword or sudoku. My 93 year old Grandmother does crosswords and sudoku every day!!! That's probably why her mind is still sharp as a tack!
B - Premier protein shake
L - Quinoa crusted fish
S - Unjury chicken soup protein

Hi Daisy and friends,
I hope your terrible forced fun is ending shortly! I have been fortunate to have really awesome coworkers at every job I have ever had, so I love those social events :) I hope it was better than expected. I am wayyy into Christmas this year...mostly because my boyfriend's kids (6, 10 and 14) are so excited, so we have had a great time decorating the tree and I love wrapping gifts every week. The 6 year old already told me that we have to make special cookies for Santa's reindeer LOL. They bring me a lot of joy.
Funny question about card games and board games. My family loves loves loves two games. Cards Against Humanity, which is just freaking hilarious. But also "Traveling Sheets of Paper". I'm not sure if you have every played it but it's fantastic. When we do family vacations and there are 10 or 12 of us, you sit in a circle with a stack of small paper and everyone draws a picture. Then they pass it to the right and the next person (on a separate sheet) writes a word or phrase of what they think the drawing is. Then the next person reads that phrase and draws an image of the word or phrase. Then the next person writes a word or phrase of what that drawing is. By the time it gets back to you, you "present" to everyone what your original picture was and what the ensuing phrases and pictures are. I promise, you will literally ROLL on the floor laughing!!!
And my boyfriend warned me that I have learn spades, which is what his family plays on vacations. He's uber competitive so I better study up and get good at it!
