It helps me realize that, first of all there are bariatric surgeons that struggle and understand, and that we are not alone in the daily struggle of making good choices. I hate that inner voice that keeps telling me " just one bite won't hurt anything - after all you have been doing SO WELL, you deserve a reward!".
All in all a good article IMO.
The struggle is REAL!

yeap. That's why I no longer buy regular - candy like protein bars ..
I do use Epic bars - they are really "a meat bar" and they don't taste that good. I eat them when I am out and I and REALLY hungry... But I have to be really hungry to eat one of them: "low blood sugar hungry".
