What's on your Menu today (Monday) RNYers?
Morning everyone! This weekend was lovely. It was raining and cold here in our part of Texas so we had a fire going all weekend. Since the kiddo was gone until late Sat we had the house to ourselves and roamed around playing cards and fiddling with laundry and house repair stuff. I got nearly all of my Christmas shopping done before the weekend and managed to get everything wrapped Sat. Sunday was D&D and friends. I love getting together with this group of geeks I adore. This is the first time in more than a decade that I have had a regularly scheduled social event weekly. Years ago I was involved in church and we had weekly meetings...nothing since then. I am finding that the regular get together is so connecting. I love it. Also...for the geeks among us...there was this crazy Drow elf mage that attacked the party and we almost all died but then our spell caster dispelled his inky dark spell and we killed all the spiders. Hehe
It is my birthday Thursday so my Guy took me to Victoria Secret for my birthday gifts on Sunday morning...new bras per my request. These new boobs need new holders after all. Really needed a 32 E but there is one style that the 32 DDD worked. LOL I find it insane that I wear such a tiny band size that even VS was like...well ...we could order it. Ah well... me and my boobs are bonding. I've decided I love them. Now they have pretty bras to dress up in and that makes me happy.
I am sort of dreading Christmas because none of our kids will be home so I am organizing an "Orphan Christmas" with sleep over, food, random presents for everyone under the sad looking tree, and lots of laughter. I feel like having friends over who wouldn't have any family to gather with will soothe my missing the kids. By the by...all of you are invited! It will be fun. If you want Christmas in Texas...PM me! We have a hot tub.
QOTD: My work party this year will be crazy. The team voted to have the actual party at a venue right across the street from my house and to have the after party at my house. I had no say in it...they all just decided Elizabeth's house was "where the cool kids go." There will be merriment and Cards Against Humanities. It should be fun!
Menu: B: Light & Fit Chocolate Rasberry (Whhhhaaa? Found a new flavor at Target yesterday), L: Last piece of left over lasagna...mmmm D: Pork tenderloin and a little mashed potatoes, S: Oikos Greek "Salted Caramel" (second new flavor I found...hope they are good.)
Accountability: This morning was 122. I got down to 121 on Sat but that was just for one weigh in. I am really hoping to hold here.

A 32E is pretty awesome!!! Flaunt those girls in their new outfits!
I Cards Against Humanity! You have to have the 'right' group of people though...
We have an annual New Years Day Pajama Party and we play it with that group. It's a ton of fun, and sometimes I laugh until I cry - all the while shaking my head saying "that was awful!"

My co-workers could not be more the WRONG group of people. They are all so conservative... But I am a horrible person (per the game instructions) so I find them amusing with their "What does that even mean?" and "I can't read this card out loud!" Also...they are the ones who insisted this is in the plan. I played it at my housewarming with a few of them (it was late, I had had a few beers, and I was bored so this seemed like a good plan at that time). Now the rest of them have all heard about "Elizabeth's terrible funny game." It will be a train wreck!

OMG. I'm cracking up. Perhaps I've been 'saving' the game for the wrong people... perhaps I need to target the more conservative group, just sit back, and enjoy.

I recommend you pre-measure the popcorn you are going to enjoy as you lean back and watch the circus unfold. :)

I love Cards Against Humanity. In fact, I just asked my daughter to bring it home with her for Christmas. I am lucky that both daughters and both of their boyfriends will be here for 4 days. They are arriving on the birthday and staying until the day after Christmas, so it will be chaotic and fun. I am looking forward to it. By the way, I haven't had time to post, but have trolled occasionally. I looooovved your purple dress from the wedding you were in. You looked great! And so tiny.

I hope you're right, Karen! I keep letting that feeling of "This is it" sneak up on me... I keep fighting it away. A tiny part of me is content where I am, a bigger part of me wants that next 30 pounds, and yet another small part of me wants to be on a runaway train to the 120's!

I promise you everytime I thought "Wow this is awesome...I like it here...I did it!" I would lose more weight and then nothing would fit again. You are really too early to think it has settled where you are. One dress to rule them all!! Next year...2 or 3 dresses. :)
