What's on your Menu today (Monday) RNYers?
Good morning Daisy and menu friends , well my weekend didn't go so well . To make a long story short I've been in the hospital all weekend . I started having constant pain in my stomach and couldn't eat or drink without extreme pain and feeling like I'd eaten a 10 course meal . After many tests they told me I have a marginal ulcer. I haven't eaten or dank all weekend . The Dr wanted to give my stomach a break . I was started back on previcid and started on sucralfate . I feel a lot better this morning and the Dr came to see me early . I'm going to stop the IV'S and start, oral meds and food as tolerated . Breakfast tray came , under Diet it said Gastric Bypass . What a joke 8 0z of cream of wheat, mint decaf tea , 1 %milk 1 Kozyshack no sugar added vanilla pudding . Umm where is the protein . So I won't be eating this . I will go check out the food court and look for some protein .Menu for rest of the day who knows . On the plus side if I tolerate food drink and meds during the day I can go home this evening , Yay .
QOTD : We usally go to my husband's work Christmas dinner . This year it's at The Keg , yum yum steak dinner .
Have a good day everyone .
Hoping you get healthy and pain free super quickly. Lots of good thoughts your way.

I hope things continue to improve!! My daughter (17yo) battled an ulcer earlier int he year. It ook MONTHS For them to finally diagnose it. I guess the upside to having our surgery is that they are quicker to diagnose things in our tummy! She was feeling better in days once she got the right medicine... I hope you are as well!
