What's on your Menu today (Monday) RNYers?

Good morning DD2 and the Menu Crew.  I've got this horrible headache going on, and it's killing me.  It's a sinus headache, but it's getting to the point where it's almost debilitating.  I took a claritin this morning, hoping that it would help me.  I just took a sudafed that a coworker had, hoping that it will help clear some of this pressure behind my eyes.  I pulled out an old pair of glasses, and I'm starting to feel better, but I'm not sure if it's from the sudafed or the glasses.  Time to make an eye appointment.

We had an incredible weekend.  We went Saturday morning and cut down a Christmas Tree.  My hubby is still without his right hand, so between my oldest and me, we got it cut down.  Last year was my first year for a real tree, and I love them so much.  My house smells wonderful right now.  My little guy is so excited for Christmas this year, and I think I've got the Christmas bug as well.  I spent most of my afternoon yesterday in my basement making pajama pants for Christmas gifts.  I got 3 pairs done yesterday, but I have so many more to do.

DD2QOTD:  My old job wasn't great for Christmas parties.  They used to do one off site when I first started, but then they started cutting back and only did a luncheon in the office during work.  My new job is having a Holiday Party this Friday night at a hip bowling alley/ movie theater in Royal Oak, MI.  It's kinda swanky compared to what I've been used to, so my hubby and I are going.  I have no idea what I'm going to wear, but it will be nice to get to know my co-workers, and introduce my husband.  Some big bosses will be there, so it will be time to try to make a good impression.

Yesterday was my 16 month surgiversary

B: egg cup with bacon, onion, mushrooms and mozzarella.  oatfit oatmeal and coffee with sugar free coffeemate

L: Smart Ones frozen meal.  It's 180 calories, 18g protein, 18g carbs (just meat, veggies and sauce) and a small romaine salad with cucumbers, tomatoes and FF dressing

D: chicken and brussels sprouts

S: Carbmaster smoothie

Totals

Calories 886 Protein 77 Carbs 76 (ack) fat 27

This is a high carb day.  The oatfit oatmeal is SOOO good in the morning, but it's really pushing me over the edge on the carbs.

Thanks.  I took that sudafed and my headache is virtually gone.

I LOVE to sew.  There is a certain amount of satisfaction in making things by hand.

I'm just getting into sewing and I'm really liking it! So far I've focused on making fun pillows for the holidays. I think curtains might be next!

Hey yall.

QOTD: Mostly do not like social work parties unless it is a small group of people I know well. The larger groups freak me out a bit and I don't like making small talk with people I don't know very well. I'm actually a shy person until I get to know people well.

Here is my question of the day- If I were to organize a clothing swap for the RNY group in the new year would that be an interest? We would be very structured with rules so people would get good quality clothing in their size or next size down and would be out the shipping only. Been thinking about it for a while so wanted to bring it up.

It has rained for 3 days here in GA, and we needed it. the pups don't like it though and are stubborn to get out in it.

Made my lowest weight yesterday at 129.2- I freaked out a little when I saw it - in a good way!

Menu today will be:

yogurt/chicken/ham and bean soup for dinner/veggies

I'm in for a clothing swap! I just pulled a bunch of clothes from my closet to give away. I'll store them until you figure out the structure!

I might be. I'm funny though... I go and pick out a basket full of clothes that I love... then I go try them on. I only end up with maybe 2-3 things that I'll actually buy. I don't know if I 'm just not a good judge of what I should wear, or what, but I've never been a big online clothes shopper. But I'd be up for certain things like T-shirts and pajama things!

I'm sorry but I wouldn't be able to send any clothes out, one of the ladies in my support group has turn part of her garage into a clothing store that we all donate to.  It's a borrowing system, because we go thru clothes sizes so fast we just borrow for a certain amount of time then bring them back, and as we get smaller we bring in our own clothes to add to the store.  It's all quite fun!

Good morning Menu Fam!!

Weekend was good. Got some good ladies time with my girlfriend. She and I went to the mall with our kids and caught up with each other while doing some light shopping. Didnt realize how much I needed that! Yesterday was very chill. DH and I went to Ihop and then I worked on our holiday cards and started this class on Etsy automation.

QOTD: This company used to be about 8 people deep, where I loved 4 or 5 of them. Now that we are about 4 people, and I pretty much hate my boss (who fired 3 or 4 of the people i loved), I'm not thrilled to participate in any of their holiday festivities. I look forward to gathering with my family though!

Time since surgery: Almost 14 weeks and 6 days

B: 1/4 Spinach Mushroom omelette form IHOP

S: Premiere Protien Chocolate

L: Swiss Chicken Bake & Green Beans

S: Premire prot CHoc

D: Meatloaf, 1 tbsp ketchup, Green beans

Water & Vit: Started

E: 10 min T25, 7 min Yoga, 15 min walk when i got here at work, may do another later.

I wasn't able to post this on friday so here it is today, taken the weekend of thanksgiving, part of our christmas cards. Its of everyone i hold near and dear to my heart (DH, Little One, Parents, Sister and her fam). Its a challenge to get my son to sit still or look at the camera this year, haha. My sister is also expecting her 2nd, a little girl!  I'm happier with how i look these days, and that dress I'm wearing I bought a couple years ago but never wore becuase it never fit, and now it does!
