BM's

I really like a product called "Dr Christopher's Lower Bowel Formula." you can get it for a good price on Amazon. If you take 6 capsules at bedtime, often by the next morning, mid-morning, you will have a BM. Sometimes, if I am REALLY backed up, then it might take a couple of days of that. Usually, I take 2-3 capsules every evening, to maintain. I also take magnesium at bedtime, and that also helps loosen things up. But when things feel really stopped up, I go to the big guns of 6 caps/night.
Good luck!
I also am a daily Miralax user I use the generic from Costco. In my coffee...I find it has little side effects except the desired one.

I had quite the problem with constipation, I was even prescribed Lactulose (which gave me the worst abdominal pain, hence I won't take that ever again). What finally worked was eating prunes everyday, now I don't have any issues. I do not dump with sugar so eating the prunes isn't a problem for me.

Whatever you do, don't wait a week or so anymore! Take the miralax, but if that doesn't work my doc recommended a dolcalax (spelling) pill... I recently had the biggest and most painful scare of my life due to being so backed up and not having enough fluids. Drink drink drink along with whatever you need to do to go! Take my word for it. Good luck!
I take 400 mg per day at night before I go to bed. However, if you are really constipated, you can take more. I have a different surgery than you, but I've gone at least 2 times per day since I was a kid. I start to freak out if I don't have at least at least 1 good one per day.
You can also try a suppository? I never took Miralax, but I heard that works well. The big thing is that you want to start on something that is not habit forming.
