Whaaat? There are so many things wrong with this I barely know how to respond...
First, it is your responsibility to know that you are not cleared to eat anything but liquids in the hospital, even if you can. Hospitals have been known to make mistakes and bring the wrong trays to people. You have to have been told about the progression of your diet, post op, and it is so irresponsible to ignore what your surgeon told you.
Second, your nerves were severed during surgery so it's very common for people to experience a different satiety immediately post op than they will in a month. Again, just because you can doesn't mean you should. You can really do damage to your new pouch which is delicate and healing by having solid food in the days and weeks post op.
My advice is to spend a lot of time on this site. Go back and read through a zillion posts and learn from others before you, because if your surgeon's office isn't giving you the correct guidance you'll have to do a lot of research on your own.
Dont panic that your pouch is too big--panic that ignoring the progression of liquids to mushies is going to do permanent damage.
