So I was supposed to move to full liquids on day 4- day 15. I never moved to full liquids until day 8. Do you think I can still move to the next phase (eggs, canned chicken, tuna, refried beans, mix sticks exc.) on day 15 or do I need to wait an extra four days because I started phase 2 late? I am so sick of sweet stuff. I feel like everything I can have is sweet.

You should be able to start your next phase. The phases are due to how far out you are (because of the level of healing your insides have done), not based on how long you've eaten the foods on the previous phase.
But take it sloooow and easy! A few of the things you mentioned are notoriously hard on new pouches. Lots of people struggle with eggs, chicken, and tuna. So chew a hundred times more than you think you should, then chew some more! And take nice long pauses between bites.
Good luck!

This is picture of my 2nd day post op meal (protein shake, chicken, carrots, potatoes and gravy) in the hospital. After it I turned to my husband and said I didn't feel like I ate anything. I knew I had a problem right after surgery! I think pouch and stoma size do matter. I wish I had known that not all RNYs are the same. It is important that patients ask their surgeon what size pouch and what size stoma maker and how long the bypass they are planning on making. Tri
WOW!
I thought that you only got sips of water in hospital.
Liquid diet and then progress to full fluids ie. soups?
I just had surgery on my ankle 3 weeks ago.
I was nothing by mouth for over 36 hours.
I will never ever forget how amazing those ice chips were LOL.
32 days until my RNY.
I have given up coffee completely. Find it upsets my stomach these days. Rediscovered my love for teas.
Just scooped up (4) tins of caffeine free Tazo
teas. I love drinking ... Water that is LOL
Just find I like to sip water while I am eating.
Constant struggle to remember I must wait 30 minutes until I can drink. Very very hard.
I am worried stuff will just sit in my throat.
Crazy... I know ...
