Good morning! Happy FRIDAY!!! Anyone got fun cool plans this weekend? We don't have any formal plans, there are a lot of little things we need to go like get groceries, get some Christmas gifts, wash my car, shop for a bday gift for my SIL who is turning 50 next weekend, you know those kind of boring mundane weekend things!
Photo Friday peeps, today's theme is post your most fav pic of yourself where you are confident, happy, you love this pic and you are not allowed to say "I love this pic of me because... but..." there is no "but." So my pic to share with you all is this past summer in July hubby and I went to visit JB & Grim in Boston. We went to this awesome place called "Rosecliff Mansion" in Newport, RI and it was spectacular! So the grounds of this mansion over look the water and hubby asked me to jump up on the ledge, which thank you to WLS I was able as it was a pretty high wall. And I was just looking around and "waiting" for hubby to tell me he was ready to take the shot and little did I know he was already taking candid shots, so here I am, I like how I look in this pic and I think hubby was able to capture how happy & content I look.
QOTD: Christmas cards, do you do cards for family & friends? In the age of all things digital and online are you old school and still give a Christmas card or do you do a digital online card or greeting? I am a bit of both new & old school. I still give out Christmas cards, but hubby and I do an online "create your own card" thing from either Vistaprint or Shutterfly and we add in our own personal photos and a special holiday message. I actually love addressing cards and adding in a personal note to whoever I am sending it to! We have a big extended family, lots of friends & co workers so we have to get a lot of cards & a lot of stamps!! But I love doing it each year!!

Mornings everyone!
We actually have an awesome weekend planned. Tonight we pick out our tree. Saturday we celebrate Christmas with my dads extended family. It's literally a full Christmas. We always do it the first weekend of December. Then Sunday, we have a tradition where we have friends with kids over to trim our tree. Gotta love child labour!
qotd: usually we only send cards to family we won't see throughput the holidays, but I might expand it a bit this year. We'll see how ambitious I'm actually feeling when the time comes...which I guess should be soon...
picture time:
It's from our wedding in 2012. I love it. We had a huge wedding, which would terrify many. Other than the ceremony, everything took place on my parents farm, under a big tent. We turned it into a whole weekend. Welcome BBQ on the Friday, Saturday wedding and Sunday brunch. Actually, it kinda carried on the week before and after...and we had guests from every province! It turned into a bit of family reunion for many.
Menu:
B: protein shake
L: leftover chicken turned into chicken salad
D: tbd. Might get a steak or pork at the butcher shop.
have a great weekend everyone!
