I actually found the manual to be almost useless. It answered none of the questions I had on the machine.
Happyteacher created an Instant Pot group on OH. You could ask to join her group. I'm a member but am one of the few not in love with the machine, so I don't visit very often. But she is a wealth of info on the machine and on recipes.

I thought I joined that group... I have vague recollections of doing so... but I'm not so sure I've been there, or get messages from it.

I have one. I also have the stove-top pressure cooker/canner. (If you quiz me you will find that I have most every appliance...)
The stove-top pressure cooker is scary. They make them better than they used to but honestly still scary. I use mine when I can things but now that I don't make jam really no need for it. But the Instant Pot !!! I have made a great lima bean and ham soup that takes literally 20 minutes. I have made chicken thighs to use for that buffalo chicken salad that took 10 minutes (plus the pressurizing time that can take another 10 minutes). Only down side is that it makes a LOT of food. There are lots of recipes - actually a thread on this site but not many recipes got posted. There is a Facebook group, but some of the recipes are really not WLS friendly. Do a Google search, and then replace high ticket items.
For chicken: put the chicken thighs (I used boneless skinless thighs, 8 of them) in the pot, chicken broth or stock (I used 4 cups), some spices, and pressed the meat/stew button. When it comes out it can be shredded for the buffalo chicken salad. The stock can be used for soup after. Or you can make chicken soup by just shredding the chicken. Chicken can be frozen, just add a few minutes. I think I cooked my chicken for 12 minutes. You can make ANY meat this way.
You can put at LEAST a whole chicken in. It makes a lot of food... the soup I made was about 8 cups. Now that would be more than a week of soup every night ;).
Hello!
I don't have an Instant/Hot Pot...
I am a Crock Pot slow cooker gal.
I suggest Google....
I just tried to and there are thousands of
recipes. You can hear your specific search to
ie. chicken recipes and a bunch came up.
Good luck!

IN THE END WE ONLY REGRET CHANCES WE DIDN'T TAKE.
I want in as well on the instant pot info! I have done a little reading, and would love to cut my cooking time down to nothing!
