Congrats Mike I am so thrilled for you! I hope they accept your counter but can I add my two cents?  The money you will save on being a couple of miles from home is par to maybe less benefits. Not to mention you can't put a price on stress of commuting and the time away from your family. And correct me if I am wrong. It your wife works at a hospital (so do I) and I assume, I could be totally wrong but does she not have great benefits?  For me to get a better job, better salary, better commute I personally would be willing to give a bit on benefits if all the rest is where you want it!! Fingers crossed my friend!!!

Good luck Mike! Italian sausage & A1 huh? Sound's interesting! I'm Italian so I usually like tomato sauce or olive oil & garlic with my sausage. I will try anything once cause you just never know!

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Friends!

Cold and windy here, too.  Brrr!  The forecast says there will be snow by Monday.  Yuk!

QOTD:  I'm weird.  I sleep in a recliner chair.  It's the only way I can sleep without my back hurting.  If I try to sleep in a bed my back and joints (hips & knees) hurt in any position.  (Fibromyalgia).  I'm always sleeping with my little Tippy on my lap.  I used to stay up late, but now that I'm older I poop out by 10:30 or 11 pm and wake up fairly early.  I also have a dog, (Blossom) who wakes me up at least once in the night.  I think she just wants attention.

B:  crepe w/ 3 strawberries, cream cheese, cool whip

L:  chili

D:  chicken enchilada soup

S:  Light n fit Greek yogurt

S:  Mr. Cheese O's or Moon cheese

Exercise:  Walking the dogs around the subdivision

This evening I am playing Mrs. Santa Claus for the Downtown Christmas Walk.  I have done this several years in a row.  This year I will be a skinnier Mrs. Claus.  I LOVE seeing all the children!  What fun!

Good morning Daisy and menu friends , That wind is so freaking strong today . Going to have to dress extra warm today . Your outfit sounds really nice Daisy but yes I know what you mean about getting something on than feeling meh . I am however loving all of my clothing options now . 

QOTD : I am a side sleeper , I like to start off on the right side . Pre surgery I slept in sleeveless night gowns , now I'm in long sleeve tops and bottoms . I'm also loving being snuggled under my down filled duvet . 

Menu same as yesterday 

B 1 hard boiled egg , 1 chicken nibbler 

L Protein Drink , pb2 

D 1 / 2 cup of Turkey spaghetti sauce 

S 3 / 4 cup of plain Greek yogurt 

Totals 615 calories  82 grams of protein

Good morning Menu Fam!

Thanks everyone who offered support over my breakdown about not getting that job yesterday. I have a better outlook today, as it is a new day. I'm trying to find other options than to work at my current place, and my former employer just emailed me about some freelance work that will take me from January into June, so i'm playing with the idea of quitting and building my freelance business. Still all up in the air, as stability is not a freelance designer's strong suit which makes me nervous, but I will still continue to apply for local jobs as well.

I am also beginning to see many upsides to RNY, as many of you know that I struggled with accepting this decision so soon after i had the surgery. I entered Onederland in my 12th week, i'm a solid size 18, and I'm enjoying what I look like in photos (thinner face) lately, as well as what I look like in new clothes. I need to post about this separately, small victories and all. Once I find time, I will. I promise i'm not always a downer, guys!

QOTD: I sleep on my tummy, and i wear pjs or sweats and a tshirt to bed. my son sleeps between DH and I, and we end up usually making an H by the time we wake up, with little one laying perpendicular between us.

Time since surgery: 13 weeks, 2 days

B: italian turkey sausage and pepper scramble

S: Premiere protien vanilla + PB2

L: 1/2 Buddig Chicken with 1 Babybell gouda

S: Premiere Protien Choc

D: 1.5 oz Cheeseburger, no bun, ketchup

E: 10 min T25, 7 min yoga stretch, In late to work so I hope to get a 20 min walk in sometime before the day ends.
