Good morning friends! Cold & windy here, I have multiple layers on today!! Happy December 1st!! So I plan my outfit I am going to wear the night before, and in my head it looked great but I am feeling blah now that I am wearing it, ever get that? I have black knee high boots, black leggings, a light brown top and a long hand knit sweater that is black and brown that my boss brought me back from her trip to Thailand a few years ago. The sweater is long and goes almost to my knees. Sounds nice right but I feel meh.
So RNY_Elizabeth had a great idea for Photo Friday (thanks E!!) to post a pic of ourselves that will raise our self esteem or makes you feel confident, a pic that you really like of yourself. Good idea right!
QOTD: Back, side or belly, how do you sleep? Are you a sleep naked, jogging pants & a T shirt or full on PJs. Do you require a lot of sleep or can you function on less than 7 hours? Do you set an alarm and if yes do you hit snooze a few times or hop right out of bed? So I sleep on my side, prefer to sleep on my right side so my left ear is not on the pillow because I am deaf in my right ear and I need to hear in case there is an Zombie attack or something LOL. I don't move much, I often wake up in the same position as I went to bed in. I usually sleep naked, but with the cold weather coming it's jogging pants and a tshirt. I have a sunrise clock so at 4:30am it's starting to get bright and I get out of bed at or just before 5am. I usually sleep around 6-7 hours a night and that seems to be fine. I used to hit snooze a gazillion times but now none, I hop right out of bed when the alarm goes off because I have to catch a commuter train into work and I have no time for snoozing now!

QOTD: I sleep on my right side or back usually. Toss and turn sometimes which makes my 18 lb cat unhappy. He likes to lay up against me and doesn't like it when I move. I wear a light T-shirt type nighty year round, but we have flannel sheets (which I love), 2 blankets and a comforter on the bed. DH has the alarm on his side. We get up at the same time, but I'm usually out of bed before the alarm. All my life I have been an early riser, morning type person, but by 8 p.m. I'm ready for bed (or a nap on the couch). Usually sleep about 7 hours.

Morning!
qotd: Actually, one of my first nsvs was one I didn't even realize for a few weeks. I used to be a face sleeper, but as my weight went up, I kind of moved to my side. It was no longer comfy. But I realized a while back that I'm back to sleeping on my stomach!
menu:
B:premiere protein shake
L: 3oz of leftover pork chop and pickle or beet.
D: leftover roast chicken (its a local chicken and a lot denser than grocery store chicken, so I prob won't be able to get any where near 3 oz. last night I maxed at 1!)
S:yogurt or a part of a shake in the evening to supplement the protein

Good morning friends! This will probably be my last day signing on for a week or so, we leave in the morning for Hawaii. Yay!
Job update: got a soft offer from the VA, is a promotion. Once I hear numbers I will know more, but this may be a wise long term move what with the great benefits, etc. The private sector hospital still hasn't set up the meet and greet with staff, so that will be after I'm back now, if I haven't already accepted the VA job.
QOTD: On one of my sides typically although I do wake up on my back sometimes. I have to have on warm jammies to sleep now, am just freezing cold at night, and of course Jason works nights, so no heater in the bed. I pop out of bed at 5am no problem, this morning I woke up at 3:50 because I was excited about our trip. Went on and got up and did some more packing.
