Good morning :)

Your question hit home for me... I've had a couple incidents. First I was carrying my grandmother's debit card for her. It must have gotten swiped (I never used it I was just carrying it) because she got some random charges from the states (we are Canadian). Then my credit card was used for dozens of parking charges in Montreal. When I called the company they asked if it could have been me lol. I said no, I haven't left the province.

However, the most annoying thing that happened was that my cars license plate got stolen and used on the toll highway here. Thankfully I had made a police report as soon as I noticed it was gone (I said I didn't know if it fell off or was stolen). Because my police report date was before the plate was used on the highway the fee was reversed from my account. When I called the toll company they asked if I drove a large van. I said no. They had a picture of the van using my plate. I called the police back and let them know there were photos of my stolen plate being used :)

Ugh! I'm betting it was the 407. We have had some frustrating dealings with them so I'm glad they were so good about reversing the charges.

Today is like yesterday,  oddly warm because of the rain.

I'm pretty down today, because a job that I was interviewing for in the last 2 months was awarded to someone else. I kept this to myself becuase i didnt want to jinx anything, but I made it to the 3rd round of interviews, and the hiring manager left a note with the recruiter that i did a great job and that she'd consider me for freelance when she needed it, but that she ultimately chose the candidate that fit the role overall (4 of us made it to the final round). So it wasn't a total rejection, but considering how a lot of my anxiety and depression comes from my current job, I'm really trying to break out of it. I also really loved the team and the job would've been great. Oh well. I'll keep applying for something. I was so glad to have a therapy session scheduled 30 min after I got the news. She helped counsel me in ways to change my thinking about my current job/boss so that i don't let the toxicity get to me. It got me through the day last night but i woke up this morning super sad.

QOTD: Yes I"ve been a victim of Identity theft. It was not fun. Someone was using my credit card to purchase starbucks reward points. I know it wasnt me because I dont drink $800 worth of coffee in a month.

It's hard when you make it to the final interview stages and don't get picked. Don't be too hard on yourself.

I hope it gets better, and that SOON the perfect job will fall into your lap!

Hope you find a silver lining.  It is hard not to get a job when you really feel you need it.  I had a similar experience recently and it sucks. Just keep on keeping on. The right thing will come.
