that's good you don't have to battle anyone at home for your food LOL Grilled mahi mahi sounds delish, I would eat that over soup any day! I love fish!
I hope you got to go and get some exercise whether is was strength training or water aerobics!! I love both!
just got back! I did the weight machines and then rode a stationary bike for 20 minutes (tomorrow will be a major cardio night - I did the bike tonight just to kill time while my husband showered). I don't like weight machines, either. I wish there was some strength-training activity that I liked :-( I do need to do the weight machines more, i've discovered. I've been mostly doing TRX for my strength training the last few months, and I seem to have lost a lot of upper body strength (esp arms). I could tell immediately when I started using the machines. Lower body strength is still OK, though.
I did go for the mahi-mahi for dinner. Fabulous! I love, love, love fish, too - esp grilled (I use a grill pan in the winter so I can grill all year long). In fact, I grill almost all my meats...love it!
Good afternoon,

Oh I hate when we lose electricity, I just feel lost!
Totally agree that you have to say no sometimes, especially if you are alone with one income because some of the WLS food is expensive!

Hi Lisa,
Please see my response to "Ginny" on page 2 or 3 (not sure where it ended up) of the menu thread today, near the bottom of the thread, she asked pretty much the exact same question. Health Smart is the brand I buy from Nashua Nutrition. Love them, check out my other post please, I am just too lazy to type it all out again LOL
Not my hubs...he has an immediate distaste for anything he considers "diet food", ha! But my kids are awful for this. Big mom moochers...if mom is eating it, everyone wants it. I have taken to hiding my little Greek yogurts. What is this protein hot chocolate anyway? I want me some!
i had my 3 month check up today! Everything looked good...still waiting on labs. Cleared for regular diet! (In a protein forward/low carb sort of way of course.)
breakfast--Greek yogurt, coffee
Snack- 2 babybell cheeses
Lunch- bratwurst. Not the best choice. I didn't plan well for today.
dinner- I have no stinking idea. Seriously off my game this week. Chicken breasts...? Not sure what with.

Hubby and kids are funny! One hates it and the others love it! See my post to "Ginny" about the protein hot chocolate, I get it from Nashua Nutrition called Health Smart, its awesome!
Awesome on your 3 months! Great job on the good labs! Let the fun begin with you being on a "regular diet"!
Now is when the real work begins, don't get lazy and stop the planning, weighing/measuring using MFP and coming here on OH, trust me it gets harder and harder every day you are post surgery day!
Good luck, come here daily!!
