Morning Everyone!

So this morning I learned that my car gives me a warning light when it's cold outside! I never needed to learn it did that. So, it was 37 this morning according to my car... too cold for me. 

QOTD: While I have bought, over the past few months, a lot of WLS foods, I don't buy a ton of them anymore, with the exception of the Quest chips. Kids have their own chips, stay out of mine! LOL But when I was drinking a bunch of Premier Protein shakes, I put my daughter on them for a while, she likes them, and I think still has one occasionally. That being said, I am married to someone that never had kids... when we all moved in together, I had to start a 'spot' just for him to have his own snacks that the kids couldn't eat. Apparently having your food stolen by a child is hard on someone that's never had children  So, the kids are used to having foods they're not supposed to eat (and of course, I have an entire shelf of foods that the kids like that are just for them... so I guess, in summary, we are a stingy food family 

 

I have been so at peace with where I am right now. Not at peace with the number (I still want it to go down), but I feel good, I love the new styles I can wear, I keep feeling new bones emerging from the depths of fat I was carrying around, and it makes me happy. Yesterday I realized I could take on/off my coat in the car without feeling like I was in a stunt show, a nice, unexpected, NSV. I'm really looking forward to seeing how far I go with this. I'm only 7 pounds from 100lbs lost... how is that even possible??

Anyway... tonight we decorate the tree, so take out it is... I'll only eat the toppings off of 1-2 slices (up to 4oz)

S: Decaf with SF syrup and half and half (no more cool whip or whipped cream for a while)

My car talks to me too when it get's to 0C (32F), it actually bings at me like 5 times and then a notice flashes across saying "icy", gee thanks car, cuz scraping the frost off my car was not an indication already to me that it was cold out ha ha ha

I love your "we are a stingy food family" that is hilarious!

I am really glad you are at peace with your numbers and your journey so far, that is awesome! I totally was nodding my head yes reading your part about taking your coat off in the car and not doing some kind of freaky yoga pose to get it off!  YES!!!

7 pounds from 100 lost is wonderful, I know you can do this, we got your back!

Good Morning! Last day of my extended vacation is today so I am going to try and get a little shopping done and work on my crochet a bit more.  I too, can't believe it's almost December-Em's birthday is next Friday! I love that you take the puppies on so many hikes.

QOTD: Babybel and string cheese!  Now they know to not take the last one and we are good.

Time since surgery: 2 years, 3 months

That is so funny about the Hot Chocolate... poor Arun...got his hand slapped figuratively....LOL I live alone so no stealing going on....I am leaving for my son's tomorrow and when I get there and 'set up camp'...I go and buy a few protein forward things, just for me to have available....and I get the side-eye from my son...but whatever...

So CAMAW always comes through- been eating/snacking on my pork loin, chicken and steak so I can go into my week away at the lower end of my maintenance zone. Sunday I was 167, today 164... So yay! My son and DIL generally eat very healthy- but their version of healthy and what I eat are different at this stage.... Neither of them have a weight problem or even own a scale (imagine?) so good for them it works...but it is way more 'healthy carb' centered....so I don't always know what is coming at me....

Menu today in no particular order:

Coffee latte with fairlife/miralax

Pork loin, chicken and cesear dressing, steak

Snacks: babybel, hard boiled eggs, chocolate chai latte

EX: 21-day-fix Pilates day- done.

Happy Tuesday Daisy and menu friends , late getting here today but I'm on track and all is well . I hear ya on the crawling back in to bed . This damp weather is murder on my knees . Slept with the heating pad across them last night . 

QOTD : Good hot chocolate story , I laughed out loud with the ninja part . My chicken nibblers disappear when the grandkids are here , which is every weekend lol . On Sunday I made my husband and the kids honey garlic chicken wings . I was planning on leftover ground turkey taco meat , was actually dreaming about it . Well after I got everyone set up with their dinner I went to get mine warmed up and discovered it was gone . My honey ate it for lunch when I was out . I was so mad I actually almost cried . 

Menu 

B 1 hard boiled egg , 1 chicken nibbler 

L Protein Drink , pb2 

D 2 oz of pork tenderloin 

S 3 / 4 cup of plain Greek yogurt 

Totals 

542 calories   83 grams of protein

Glad you made it on Lizz even if its later in the day!  I am sorry the damp weather is hard on your knees, I broke my right ankle when I was 25 and do this day when its raining or about to rain my ankle throbs, its sucks so I feel for you!

Glad I made you laugh!  Seriously though he was not getting my hot chocolate! LOL  Don't you hate it when you think there is something in the fridge or cupboard and you to get it and its gone, especially when your heart is set on it, yup been there, done that LOL

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Friends!

Sorry for my absence.  I missed this group!  My internet died and I was without internet access from Thursday through Monday!!!  I had terrible computer withdrawls!  The plus side is without the computer to waste so much time on, I got some cleaning done around my house and some other things done.

QOTD:  I have my Mr. Cheese O's and my Moon Cheese and other foods that are just for me, but my daughter isn't interested in them.  She has a shelf in the cupboard of foods that are just for her that I leave alone.  Reeses peanut butter cups and other candies and snacks.

My menu for today:

B:  crepe w/ strawberries, cream cheese & cool whip

L:  chili

D:  Progresso chicken & rice soup

S:  Light n Fit Greek yogurt

S:  Mr. Cheese O's or Moon Cheese

Exercise:  Walking the dogs around the subdivision.
