Good morning Menu Friends! How is everyone? It's cold and rainy here, I so want to crawl back into bed and sleep for many many more hours! Ha ha Is anyone else kind of blown away that it's December on Thursday? Where did the time go? 2017 is almost here? I just feel like time goes by so fast these days.
QOTD: Do you have food that you buy for yourself that is WLS approved, you have researched it, and it meets all the protein forward & low carb "rules" and you bought it just for you and then someone in your family eats it on you? So the other day hubby walks into the kitchen with me and says "oh I feel like a hot chocolate" and reaches for one of my special protein hot chocolates. You should have seen me it was like I was some sort of Ninja protecting my hot chocolate, I jumped in front of him as he was reaching for it and say "slow down there babes, this is "My" hot chocolate, your stuff is in that cupboard!" He looked at me like I had 10 heads, "hot Chocolate is hot chocolate," he says. No no no my dear not when you live in Canada and order this from a US retailer and pay shipping and get slammed on the exchange rate, no this is special "Daisy only" hot chocolate. Ha ha ha Hubby does not like babybel, balsamic or Splenda so I never have to worry about him taking those. #WLSproblems

I love snow but feeezing rain sucks!! I hope you are lucky to have a hubby that does not like your food!
Great menu, what kind of protein & carb numbers are you eating daily? You don't post them so not sure
I should be adding that to my posts again. I got lazy.
My calories are still under 500 90% of the time. I aim for at least 60 protein, but realized I wasn't quite hitting that target lately. So I'm back on protein shakes for a little while to make sure.
how many calories ish were you eating at 3 months?
My hubby is pretty great about it. I don't buy much specialized food, and he's definitely adapted to my Bariatric style of cooking without complaint.

I am going to come up to Ottawa and kick your butt, no laziness allowed LOL LOL Gotta weight/measure and use MFP and come here on OH, protein forward, low carb and lots of liquids! So many damn rules I know but it works LOL
3 months out I was about 500-600 calories so you are on target. I would try to up your protein numbers if you can, aim for 75-80, if you can you are pretty early out. I was still drinking a protein shake for breakfast every day at 3 mos to get my protein in and I ate those mini tuna in a can that come with crackers, I threw out the crackers and just ate the tuna.
You are lucky you hubby is so on board with the new food/cooking etc, that's awesome, I love to hear that!!!
Oops, and carbs are usually under 20. I think I had one or two days where they were close to 50.

Morning DD2! It doesn't seem like it could be December already. Time is flying.
QOTD: I have never had a problem with people taking my food. Until very recently, it was never even a possibility. And really, the only thing I had was meat. And there is always extra meat.
Speaking of which, I really, really need to eat out of my freezer for a while. It's pretty much crammed full. I should stop hoarding meat. Plus, I have a whole ham in the fridge. Don't tell JB that next week is ham week.
