What's on your Menu today (Monday) RNYers?
My weekend was pretty good. We had a "friendsgiving" with our neighbors, and I DARED to actually eat the super delicious and moist turkey that I cooked and was paid back by spending the rest of the evening puking my guts out. My pouch is such a *****! Then I had a family party yesterday afternoon. The parties should be over for a little bit now.....hopefully! Too much temptation.
QOTD: I freaking LOVE popcorn, salty, buttery, crunchy, sweet...however they make it, I'll eat it! Smartfood is one of those foods I cannot keep in my house, its crazy how much popcorn my pouch can hold at one time! YIKES

I normally just stick with my 4-5 meats I can tolerate. But I paid 80milliondollars for that friggin turkey. It was a farm fresh, never frozen turkey from the farm my daughter works at. So I wanted to try it, I only have 1.5oz, but that was enough to send me over the edge though.
That stinks

I am so bummed for you that you are still struggling! If I were you I would be freaking the hell out and marching your tiny butt back to your WLS centre, and demanding some answers. I think of all the dense proteins you are missing out on. I am sorry Melissa I wish I had some answers for you! Thank god you are making it work and you are super creative with your menus!
Good to see you back, don't be a stranger, we all missed you!
Yeah I have been back to my WLS center, they did an endoscopy and found nothing physically wrong with my pouch. So now its just "sometimes this happens, and we cant do anything about it"
Sometimes I get really down about it, only because it's HARD to stay on track when cookies, cakes, candy etc etc go down NO PROBLEMS.....I have never gotten sick from a carb. Yet nice, healthy, protein rich, dense protein causes puke city!
But anyway, ***** fest over.
