Is there a protein bar that's good and low in fat & sugar?

great input from everyone. I ordered some chocolate brownie Quest bars and I just bought some Costco Kirkland ones too. I'm anxious to try the cookies from the brownie bar. That's genius.
One bar is the same calories/fat/sugar as a protein shake with skim milk so I'm not sure why I would gain if it replaces a shake? Any comments from anyone who has experienced this.
you are really early out- about 5-6 months out, you will need to pick and choose what fits your calories and carbs for your allotment for the day. protein bars don't fill you up the way meat does and usually eating 1/2 a bar as a snack isnt an option for most of us because stopping an 1/2 a bar isnt mentally possible. this can lead to overeating and going high on your carbs for the day. I hope that makes sense- this is why I only have one every week and not one a day/multiple a day.
ive made muffins from mine before - 1 - 2 bars, protein powder, egg whites, etc and bake them. about 100 calories and makes 12.
Read your labels. Right now my son has some "protein" bars that are 3x higher in carbs than protein. Fine for him but if I ate them it would not be a good thing.
I eat Quest bars. My favorite is the apple pie. I do not love them. What I like about them is that I have an emergency/no prep meal. I like that it has a lot of fiber. When I enter a Quest bar in my food tracker I get 20 gm of protein and fiber. Days that I'm not feeling bursting with energy, I consider them a good choice.
Good luck.

Sometimes I am on the run so I will have one in my purse. I try not to eat them since they are pretty much chemicals.
They also can be a trigger food for me.
Try them at home before you eat one that you haven''t tried yet. I can eat some of Quests bars but some really made me feel wonky.
