Internal staple line healing time

Does anyone know how long does it take for our internal staple line to heal in RNY?
I am a bit more conservative - I use the general rule that it takes twice as long for the internal scars to heal as it does for the external. For me, that puts it more like 12 weeks for full strength. This is based on hear-say, I don;t know what the research says, but I have gone with it and waited the additional time before I went back to serious weight lifting.

I live in Amish country. One day my doctor told me his last patient was an Amish lady recovering from a hysterectomy. She was there for her six week checkup and the doctor told her that she was healed and could go back to doing her farm chores.
He said he knew she would be carrying heavy milk buckets the next day and wished he could in good conscience tell her that she was still healing and had to rest. But he said that six week was enough time for everything to be healed. That was open surgery then.
I was cleared for weight lifting six weeks after my RNY and had no problems.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
The healing time may depends on the person overall health (i.e diabetic or not) protein intake during healing time, minerals and vitamin deficiencies, etc)
For someone rather healthy - it may be 4 or 6 weeks. For someone who has problem with wounds healing - like in case of uncontrolled diabetics - it can take longer
