What's on your Menu today (Photo Friday) RNYers?
I didn't do as well as I planned yesterday, but it wasn't horrible. 1400 kcal for the day, as opposed to my usual 1000-1200. I avoided the mashed potatoes, rolls, and dessert, but had a modest amount of everything else. So I didn't blow it or anything, but.... I'll just try to eat closer to 1000 for the rest of the weekend. And get some exercise.
QOTD: I don't use the apps. I used to clip coupons, but they were way more likely to clutter up my kitchen drawers than actually get used, so I don't anymore. I'm a sucker for some of the emails I get from places, though - like Vitamin Shoppe. Or BOGO sales I spot when I walk into a store (I rarely buy things I won't use, but still - I'm very well-stocked in things like vitamins and protein powder!)
17 months out:
B: L&F coconut vanilla yogurt with blackberries
S: protein shake
L: going out with the hub - probably soup or a salad
D: leftover turkey. No more than a tablespoon or two of stuffing and sweet potato casserole (so many calories in both!!)
will try not to eat anything else today. I'm going to pick up a lot of herbal tea at the store today - drank a lot of that yesterday as I was cold *and* it kept me from away from the appetizers!!

You don't REALLY know how calorie laden Thanksgiving foods are until you are truly honest with MFP, holy crap!!!!!!! Even a tip of the fork taste adds up FAST.
QOTD: Always flyer/coupon shop for food, LOL! Did the Black Friday thing when my kids were little to get those special toys. Lots of internet shopping now, always with a promo code!

Good morning. Boy do we have a lot of leftovers here. Sister, who is still quite heavy, brought three pies. Lucky for me they do not really tempt me now. But a turkey sandwich would.
QOTD: not a coupon shopper, and I try to stay away feom the store eight now. Many times have I toured the store with a bag of whatever new Cheetos the store had and then realized it and returned them. But I am using Fred Meyer's Click-List... order online, show up to the store and they load it into my car. Saves me the trouble of impulse shopping.
B: FAirlife ff milk with coffee, protein shake
L: turkey sandwich made with lettuce, green beans
D: leftover turkey etc.
S: Syntrax fuzzy navel in water, babybel cheese
Too lazy for totals today but protein forward hopefully
It really helps me. Cost $4.95 per visit but so worth it. It really keeps me on the straight and narrow... I suffer from that anxiety of feeling deprived if I can't taste everything new that was ever invented.
I had PT this AM, tryed to post while on the zapper machine(official name :) ) but never managed to and my I don't know how to reduce the size of a pic when you are on a phone...it looked ginormous....
So finally wore the outfit on Thanksgiving I bought in NYC when I was with MaryAnn, Grim, and JB... and my 20-something year old nieces loved it, so I guess I did good....
Food was fine....I didn't like most the side dishes anyway , had a bite of pecan pie, insides of some pumpkin pie and a rainbow cookie....
Yet I am exhausted today, achy and feel like I have a hangover and I didn't drink....
This is at my girlfriend's house- not my puppy.....
B: Coffee latte fairlife/miralax
L: just ate way too much at once because I waited too long to eat 2PM and the only thing I had to day was coffee....
Chicken, turnips, SF cranberry- handfuls of cashews and trail mix waiting for it to heat in microwave...because 3 minutes is too long to wait to eat...then after done- maybe 20 minutes later made a coffee smoothie because I don't know why....wanted something sweet? didn't 'feel' full? ....now I feel sick plus liquids after solids.... what was I thinking? Oh and also cause I saw on Pinterest cheese melt chips where you basically melt cheese until burnt in microwave..... oy...not good...not cured....
D: I think just eggs and bacon
Other 'maybes for today- fuzzy navel syntrax in water, chocolate chai latte....
