4 weeks out
I could eat about 1/4 cup at a time of some things. Not really dense protein... cottage cheese, yogurt, refried beans. Maybe 1/2 cup of sf jello, but not very fast.
I'm only 8 weeks out but at 4 weeks I was still on mushy food and ate no more than 1/2 or 4oz of food 3x a day and filled in the rest of my protein with shakes. I had yogurt and cottage cheese mainly. It usually equaled around 400 calories.

I went back and looked at my food log. My calories were around 400. I was eating things like protein shakes, eggs, ham, hummus, cheddar etc. still pretty soft. Canadian thanksgiving fell during that time. I had a couple of tablespoons of dark meat with gravy, a spoonful of baked beans, and a tablespoon of mashed potatoes.

I'm 4.5 weeks out. I'm at 3 ounces of protein or around a half cup of total food. I'm on soft food. Which is just about anything except super dense proteins or jerky. Just have to make sure it's minced up and well chewed

I'm 5 weeks out. I eat unground food now. I just chew a lot! My Dr cleared me for non-ground a little early because I'm doing well. Check with your Dr.
I eat about 700-1000 calories a day. I'm down to one shake a day because I'm getting good protein down. Today:
B - One scrambled egg and 3 slices of Canadian Bacon
S - Light and Fit Greek Yogurt
L - 2 Oz of Turkey and 1/4 cup of cottage cheese (low fat)
S - Sugar free pudding
D - Ricotta bake 1/8th, broccoli (small amount) and low fat Baby Bell
S - Unjury Chocolate Shake with skim milk
