Hi all, continuing the "quick post" theme... we are all so busy! I am at work for a 1/2 day, then home to finish decorating my cookies, yay! :) 

QOTD: I have done the "stand in line at midnight" thing in the past but I am over it. I just don't need a deal enough to risk life and limb (and sleep) for it. But I will admit that it was a fun night. The staff at Target were really nice and handed us cocoa and granola bars in line and made the atmosphere really fun so that no one was cranky enough to trample one another!

This year we need to venture out to see if there are any deals on stoves, but we can wait until daylight... I want to upgrade the stove in my condo before renting it out, and Black Friday is bound to offer a good coupon! 

The BEST part of Black Friday this year is the Gilmore Girls reboot on Netflix!!!!!! It starts at 12:05am on Friday and we are planning to stay up all night and watch all 6+ hours of it. Yaaaaay!

YAY for the Gilmore Girls!!!!  I promised a friend of mine that I would watch it with her, and she's still binge watching the original show, so it's going to be more like a Christmas treat for me.  Boo.

Good morning Daisy and menu friends , So we have our Thanksgiving in October , I've always felt it's so early and I'm a little envious of the state's thanksgiving and then the plunge into the Christmas season . 

QOTD : Black Friday shopping . I've been getting notifications all week about the upcoming sales . There are a few stores I want to hit up . Nothing crazy though 

Menu 

B 1 hard boiled egg , 1 chicken nibbler 

L Protein Drink , pb2 

D 2 oz of ground turkey spaghetti sauce 

S 3 / 4 cup of plain Greek yogurt 

Totals 629   81 grams of protein

Good morning Menu Fam!

I get the next 4 days off, and I'm looking forward to it! Infact monday i'm working from home to watch my little one since his babysitter has 3 DR appts, so its sort of a 5 day weekend. I can't wait.

QOTD: I have done lots of early morning black friday shopping in the past. Lately i've been doing a lot of online shopping and DIY gifts, so it just depends on the year. This year I wont be partaking in the stores, but possibly a little online action. I usually have a plan on what to get people for the year around now, but this year I'm so unprepared.

Time Since Surgery: 12 weeks and 1 day

Still high on calories because i'm out of isopure. oh well.

B: Cocoa Ricotta Bake + SF Syrup

S: Premiere Protien Chocolate

L: Italian meatball, pasta meat sauce

S: Babybell Gouda, 10 cashews

D: 1 Skewer Chicken Satay W/ 1 Tsp peanut sauce (or burger patty)

Totals with satay: 788 Cal, Protien 81, Carb 30, Fat 40

Vitamins & Water: Started

E: 10 min T25, 7 min yoga, 12 min walk when i got here at work.

EDIT: Not sure if i'll be back tomorrow, so if I'm not, Happy Thanksgiving to all the US Menu-ers! I will try to get a picture of me, DH and little tike tomorrow to share friday, which will also probably be a quick post. My family is coming in from DC this weekend and I'm excited to see them!

thanks everyone for the encouragement yesterday! I will ignore their stats and just keep doing what I know works!

qotd: I'm in Canada, so we celebrated back in October, but our friends from Boston are coming to town, so it's kind of like another holiday hahah we're going to see the holiday train ( it's a cn train that travels across the country decked out in lights, with a drop down stage for entertainment) and definitely no Black Friday deals, although there's a pair of boots I've been watching online I might buy if the sale is good.

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Friends!  Happy day before Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving:  Tomorrow Saralisa and I are going to my niece's house where the whole family will be getting together for Thanksgiving.  They know I don't cook much, so I am bringing paper plates, napkins, plastic cups, plastic silverware, rolls and relish trays.  I think they also chose these things for me because they didn't want to ask me to bring pies or something I can't eat.

QOTD:  Black Friday:  This will be Saralisa's first time working retail for Black Friday and she is TERRIFIED!  I sure hope the customers are nice to the cashiers!  No, I don't go Black Friday shopping, (crowds - YUK!), but I do do some shopping online.  (Cyber Monday).  However this year I have pretty much gotten most of Saralisa's Christmas presents already bought ahead of time.  Her birthday is January 5th, though, so I have birthday presents to buy as well.  It's hard with Christmas and her birthday being so close together.

My menu for today:

B:  Crepe w/ 3 fresh strawberries, cream cheese, cool whip

L:  Roasted chicken & wild rice soup

D:  Lettuce, spinach, chicken, cheese, cranberries & nuts, low cal dressing

S:  Light n Fit Greek yogurt

S:  Moon cheese or Mr. Cheese O's

Exercise:  Walking the dogs around the neighborhood

Have a WONDERFUL Day today and a very Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow (USA people).  I'm very thankful for all of you!!!
