I love hearing you guys reinforce this message, it helps me SO much. Spent over an hour buying Thanksgiving food yesterday realizing that I wont be eating ANY of it but some of the smoked turkey I am making, sobering thought. Bought three HUUUGGGEEE (sorry couldn't resist - I hate that word now, lol) bottles of wine and won't touch them again.

 

Its a new life a new world, but hey I just hit 189!!!

 

I think I will come back and reread this post every day this next week to reinforce my Holiday struggles :)

What the others have said...I have not had alcohol yet. I haven't really wanted it. I have four young kids...I am more of a coffee person, lol. I don't need anything that will make me more tired,m. :) I am almost three months out. I can drink water and such pretty normally. If I do gulp too fast, I get kinda burpy. But I don't have to sip. For me at this point, corn and potatoes are about pouch real estate. I can't eat very much. If I eat carbs like that, I can't get in the protein I need.
