Well my getting ready for thanksgiving festivities was getting a mani pedii yesterday and as I write this have dye in my hair. So funny I go to the same Korean place for my nails forever... heap. The owner esp. She goes on and on about my weight loss. She has no problem going right up and touching my waist like yesterday and going "so tiny, so tiny" .... Anyway yesterday she starts telling me about this really big(as she puts it) customer that comes in and how she kept telling her about me and losing all the weight and the woman just had surgery...or as she put it - " Went to the Doctor and got cut" as she is making sawing motion across stomach LOL. So funny to think I influenced a stranger through this Korean woman.

Who would have thought Inspiration would take on so many forms?? I've been a part of an online working mothers forum since my youngest was born. I've inspired one woman to have surgery, and I believe a second just did-- but she's not talking about it.
i don't get my nails done in the cold weather months, I feel like they need a break to recover from the gel/uv lights I do in the summer. I would like to try jamberry (if that's what it's called)

Morning JB & crew!!
the house looks great- not overdone. Sometimes yards end up looking cluttered with all the stuf people display. I'm so impressed with your cookies making skills!! I swore off holiday cookie baking years ago after I accidentally exposed my son to eggs in the process-- he's incredibly allergic to eggs. One trip to the ER and I've never baked another cookie. I'd rather buy them thean relive that experience.
QOTD: Last move was 12 years ago when we bought this house. We moved from a two bedroom apartment here and it was in July and I was 8.5 months pregnant. First order of business was installing central AC-- ppregnant +unpacking+heat= angry Shauna.
One son is 85%dine with his project- the other is starting today. A trip to Micaheals will be necessary- I can't be held responsible for any New Christmas decorations that may make it into my cart.
18 months out- 194.2 today
m1: 1 boiled egg, 1/2oz cheese, 1 serving cream of wheat made with fairlife milk
m2: lunch meat roll up (ham/turkey)
m3: steak
m4: making spaghetti for the family-- normally I eat the meat sauce. I'm not in the mood for it though

House looks great, JB - as do the cookies!!
QOTD: We moved to this house 20 years ago and I'm NOT moving again until they move me into the retirement center!! UGH!!
155 this morning - another .6 lbs gone since yesterday. Not sure what to make of this - but I'll take it! Only *one pound* from a normal BMI!!
17 months out:
B: plain Greek yogurt with homemade blackberry sauce
S: protein mocha latte, maybe coffee with half & half
L: not sure - maybe the rest of the chicken/pear/pecan salad
D: pork stir-fry (meat & veggies only) or a pork chop with coleslaw (made with a little sesame-miso dressing)
possible snack later: pumpkin protein chia pudding before it rots! (I have no problem tossing it - but if I'm going to have a snack later, then that will be it..)
BTW I have never seen a squirrel cookie cutter... and I applaud you for your decorating skills. Usually by the time you have them baked and cooled who wants to decorate. I just mailed a huge box of baking stuff to my friend Lauren- the one who helped me with the surgeries- Her daughter is 10 and right in that wanting to learn to bake mode. I must have sent them at least 10 cookie cutters for the various seasons...but they are all huge and will make a cookie the size of a softball.... small? No.

I love cape houses.. we have one too. Hopefully my photo will follow.
QOTD: We moved in 2007 from a house in this same town to a larger home so my mother in law could move in with us. We've turned our garage into an adorable in law apt for her. Of course since then our twins have both moved out and we have a house that's way too big for us. I'd love to down size but there is so much to take care of here in order to sell it we will probably just stay for a bit.
B: Cottage Cheese, coffee, creamer, equal
L: Scrambled egg and ham
D: hamburger and mushrooms
S: Tuna and balsamic, Proti shake
