Morning menuers. Someone woke me up at 4 am, so it will be a long day.

I've paid more attention to decorating outside than inside the last few years. I'll probably do more inside this year. Or watch it being done. I do have a bunch of ceramic items like Santa Clauses and a nativity that my mother made years ago. But it's a long time since I've bothered with a live tree.

It's been my experience that doing it the other way around is more gratifying.

Morning menu folks,

I'm very excited today because I was finally able to go back to my water aerobics class! I've had incision issues since surgery and was finally cleared to go. It was a big part of my life pre-surgery and one of the reasons that pushed me to have surgery in the first place so today is a great day!

Wendy's grilled chicken without a bun is a great road meal. I think it's 130 calories, 27 grams of protein, zero carbs.

I'd seen in one of your earlier posts that you had a lot of Wendy's grilled chicken when you were early on so I thought I'd try it. Great nutrition and I was pleasantly surprised at how moist it was too!

I love water aerobics! It helped me knock off 50lbs before WLS! I'm always encouraging people in my program who are having a hard time getting started with exercise to try it.

Last night I was walking up and down every aisle of the grocery store trying to rack up steps on my new Fitbit.  While I was walking down the health food aisle, I spotted it - Moon Cheese!  I'd never seen it before and wasn't expecting to see it on the health food aisle, but there it was!  I picked up a couple of bags.  Looking forward to trying it!!

weight was 155.6 this morning - 1.6 lbs from a normal BMI!!   I just hope the scale wasn't tricking me and it'll be back up a couple of pounds tomorrow   :-(   If so, I'll keep plugging away!!

QOTD:  we've never decorated outside, and we haven't decorated inside in probably 15 years.  We don't even bother with a tree - the cats will just knock it down.  Plus we don't do Christmas Eve or Christmas Day at home - we go to my mother's or my sister's.  I do have my artificial tree up in the attic, though.....

17 months out:

B:  L&F coconut vanilla Greek yogurt topped with fresh raspberries and 1 T Kashi Crunch granola

S:  coffee with half & half,  homemade iced protein pumpkin latte  (I adore these, but they definitely have more calories than a regular protein shake - which means less food elsewhere - boo!!)

L:  maybe some Moon Cheese or tuna with balsamic vinaigrette

D:  either pork stirfry (meat & veggies only) or a pork chop with coleslaw (miso-sesame dressing)

exercise:  went to a TRX class at 8:00 this morning.  I probably should get out and walk (10K steps!), but it's so freaking cold outside!!!

We don't put up a tree either because we go to my inlaws both the day before and Christmas day itself. My cats would probably knock a tree down too trying to climb it!

Good afternoon JB and gang.  Plans today are to get my cluttered mess of a house clean for the birthday party I'm hosting here tomorrow for my little.  I'm going easy on the food, and just throwing some meatballs and chicken in a crock pot tomorrow, but I have to make a cake and cupcakes today.  But for some reason, my little one is being very very needy and just wants to sit on my lap.  He's upset right now because I moved him to type this post.

JBQOTD: Last year we decorated with some lights, but they stayed up until like March and I'm not sure I'm feeling motivated to get them up this year.  I'll see what my hubby does.  Inside we put up a tree and decorate it, but I don't go all out with christmas decor other than the tree and stockings.

15.5 months since surgery

B: 1/2 a bagel with eggs, cheese and bacon from Tim Hortons.  I ate one bite too much and it sent me into a sneezing fit.

L: 3oz turkey and cucumbers, tomatoes and fat free feta with bolthouse farms roasted garlic dressing

D: Not sure, I don't have a plan but we're not going anywhere, so something that I have in the house

no totals because of the lack of a complete plan

also, I came home from work last night and my hubby had the fridge pulled out.  There is a leak inside from the water line, somewhere.  So, we decided that we'd unhook the water and move the fridge to the garage, and go buy another fridge.  So, we went to Best Buy and spent like 2 hours checking out all of the refrigerators.  We ended up with a pretty nice refrigerator.  It's not being delivered until next Saturday, so we'll have to deal without filtered water for a week.  Oh, the horror!
