What's on your Menu Today (PHOTO FRIDAY) RNYers?
I've had a difficult time posting my menu too cause I keep getting home too late but....
For Rhode Island you can make Johnny Cakes, stuffies (stuffed quahogs), with coffee milk or a cabinet (although that's definitely not a RNY meal!) so you could have a New York System wiener (otherwise known as a gagga) without the bun of course. For dessert either a zeppole, dels or a donut cake!!

Another Homeschool Mom here....Although he is long graduated, 11 years last June. Yet just today I had to pull out his transcript for him - so keep that paperwork. :)
New York City is "the big apple" so an apple dessert would fit. Lots of Italian food here.
Upstate one of the famous dishes is "chicken riggies" - you can find a recipe.
Also in Saratoga - home of horse racing they are known for their famous "chips"
Look this up because you will find it gross/ interesting. You won't want to make it- also an upstate thing- my son went to college in Rochester and the famous place to go get it was Nick Tahoes -- Home of the garbage plate.

Hi folks
qotd: I would not be an animal. I know, I suck and can't play along- but I don't care for animals. I hate the zoo. I think I have it pretty damn good as a human-- not trading places.
Weekend: mostly helping the kids with their end of term projects. Have a nutritionist appt I didn't have the nerve to cancel (waste of time). That's about it.
