What's on your Menu Today (PHOTO FRIDAY) RNYers?
That is funny an opossum- I would never have thought of that but I knew knew so much inside info on them...so there is logic behind it...
You look great, even though the majority of the swelling went down in 2-4 weeks... you would be surprised, my body continued to change for at least 3 months...

You look AMAZING Elizabeth, what a body girl!! Glad you are healing so well and you really seem to be coming along so well! I love your choice of animal, and the Opossum totally suits you for all the reasons you quoted, I love it!
Keep up the awesome work my friend!!!
Good Morning! Happy Friday. Working from home today since I have to take hubby in for a colonoscopy later this morning and then next week I am on vacation. As for the weekend, not sure it really depends on how my hubby feels after today. I hope to feel well enough to make my normal gym time in the morning for my run...we'll see.
Nice to see that you are able to get Amy out for a walk.

Great menu Corrie! And I love your Bear pic and explanation, its perfect! LOL
I am posting later than usual today. It has been crazy busy at work, so no time to post and hardly any time to even read the boards. I miss my menu posse! Todays menu is incomplete because I have a work dinner tonight, so no idea what is on the menu.
I am so jealous of your snow prediction, Daisy. While I am not a fan of cold weather, I love snow. That is probably because we get it here in Portland so seldom that when we do, the city shuts down. That mean hunkering down inside, fire in the fireplace and just enjoying how beautiful it is. Any snow event we get is always short lived, so one must enjoy while one can.
This weekend I have a work dinner tonight, and then I want to see if I can find a dress for a holiday ball on 12/3. Tomorrow, I am having a dinner party, and I will be making braised short ribs. Yum! Fat girl doesn't get any mashed potatoes, though. Sad face. On Sunday I will spend the afternoon with my Dad. Somewhere in there I have to find the time to get some work done in preparation for a presentation next week. Eek!
QOTD: I want to come back as a cat, but only if I can come back as MY cat. So, that will take some fancy sorcery or manipulation of the space/time continuum to make happen. Details. Pshaw! My picture is of my spoiled baby, Layla.
