becoming more lactose intolerant over time

So, the farther out from surgery I get, the more lactose intolerant I get.  I don't drink milk and don't usually eat soft cheeses.  I have never had issue with yogurt before, but today I had a light and fit greek yogurt (raspberry flavor) for an afternoon snack and now I feel so nauseated.  I feel the gassiness and gurgling tummy that I get when I'm bad and eat ice cream.  I didn't think that there was a bunch of lactose in Light and Fit, and I've been eating is since surgery and have never had a reaction to it before.

Has anyone ever had a problem with it?  Or has anyone had a problem with becoming more intolerant over time?  Uck, I feel terrible.

Sometimes it is terrible for me and sometimes it seems to go away.  For the first seven years, I got cramps and terrible diarrhea whenever I had mil**** cream, pudding, unless it was Lactaid.

During the last year, I have had no problems.

I still have my Lactaid tablets just in case.

Yes.  Since my conversion to RNY, I have a horrible time with yogurt.  It gives me bad gas and I've had to sprint to the bathroom on more than one occasion. Lactaid pills seem to help me about 90% of the time.  Even with the pills, yogurt can be iffy for me.

I had lactose intolerance come on suddenly around year 3, and since then I have gone thru stages of it getting worse and then a little better, than worse and better again.  I have not been able to figure out why from tracking what I eat.  There doesn'T seem to be a pattern to it.  I also started getting reactive hypoglycemia around the same time and this also seems to be getting worse, with occassionally improvements.  Maybe it's a macro nutrient ratio thing - carbs/fat/protein or possibly it has to do with the amount of fiber I ate at the last meal.  Not sure.
