Lucy had her surgery, recovering nicely. They think it was just a lipoma (fatty tumor) and not cancer, but have to wait for the pathology report. Good news so far. Thanks for well wishes and prayers

L cheeseburger
D chicken breast and spinach
S Greek yogurt, turkey sausage snack sticks and apple
Have a good day
Daisy, I'll be thinking about you and Amy all day. Please keep us updated on her condition. Also, thank you all for your support yesterday. I reached out to my surgeon, and even though he was on vacation, he got back to me with some suggestions. I'm going to meet with the program's dietitian. She's actually amazing and I'm sure with the three of us working together, we'll figure something out. I really do appreciate all of your support. Also, I'm going to take Grim's suggestion and just eat dense protein (the same kind) for BL&D and see if I still have the heart palpitation issue. If I don't, I know that my body is super sensitive to any non-protein. And if I do, it will be good information for my dietitian and surgeon. Let the experiments begin!
DQOTD - I don't do anything with my co-workers at my current firm, but some of my best friends are co-workers from my past firm. It's nice to have people who understand both your work like and personal life.
My Plan (the Grim experiment will start tomorrow!):
B: 1 egg, 1 oz ham 1/2 slice of cheese
L: 3 oz sliced turkey
D: Chicken thigh meat
S: 2.6 oz sliced ham, Skinny vanilla latte
Totals: Cal. 611; Protein: 77g; Fat: 21g; Carbs: 21g
Sometimes, we just need to be methodical and a little scientific. I think you are ideally suited for this.
If these issues are in your control, you'll end up doing great. You've hit more bumps than the rest of us, but there is no doubt in my mind that you'll kick ass.

Ok, everyone else is thinking it, but I guess I'll be the one to say it. Be careful of the meat experiment that Ava proposed to you last night.
Let's be safe out there.
