I need a mattress pad and a few years ago wanted a heated one.  Now I never get cold anymore and throw the blankets off at night.  I never thought that would happen.  I am not too warm or too cold, just comfortable most of the time.

I have a heated foot pad at the end of my bed. SO great! But as with your dogs, my cat think that's her throne and sleeps there all the time. I leave it on during the day in case my feet get really cold and I jump in for a few minutes. But I always have to scoot my kitty off of her throne and she gets perturbed! :)

Good Morning Daisy and Everyone!

Daisy - I will be saying lots of prayers for Amy today!  Give her lots of love from me when you pick her up from the vet.  How soon will you know the results of the test?

QOTD:  I used to be the manager of a picture framing shop in a large multi-department store until they closed a few years ago.  Now I'm pretty much "retired".  I'm still friends with a couple of the framers I used to work with, but I don't see them very often.  My closest framing friend died a few years ago from cancer.

My menu for today:

B:  crepe w/ peaches, cream cheese, cool whip

L:  lettuce, spinach, h.b. eggs, bacon, cheese, low cal dressing

D:  chili cheese dog

S:  Light n Fit Greek yogurt

S:  Roast beef rolled up w/ cream cheese

Exercise:  Walking the dogs around the subdivision

Have a WONDERFUL Wednesday everyone!

Good morning Daisy, wishing Amy all the best today.

B:  1 egg, 1 Jones mini sausage patty, coffee w/cream & miralax

L:  Chef salad w/ homemade viniagrette

I'll be thinking of Amy today!!!  I know you're a nervous wreck, but sometimes these things turn out to be fine.  Fingers crossed!

QOTD:  yes - I've worked outside the home forever.  I've been in my current job for 15 years.  There's no one on staff I currently hang out with outside of work, but one guy I used to before he got into a relationship a few months back.  And there are a handful of former employees whom I still get together with sometimes.

17 months out

B:  Greek yogurt, fresh raspberries

S:  coffee with half & half, protein mocha latte

L:  meeting a former co-worker (!) at a Mexican place for lunch.  I'll probably eat half a huarache without the tortilla

D:  if I have enough calories, then chicken/pear/pecan salad.  If not, then it's Trader Joe's turkey meatballs for me!

probably another Greek yogurt later
